Sturgeon

This morning I have been watching an episode of the hunting public about spearing lake sturgeon. Fascinating, highly recommend.

Next week we take on pike with a high-powered rifle in the mountains of Vermont ;-)

I’ve caught several sturgeon in the Merrimack fishing while running striped charters … super strong fish. Can’t take em out of the water tho… saw a boat pull one out drove over to tell em and the CG was already heading there cuz they seen it.

I saw the same episode, was very interesting, was like deer hunting that folks go years without a harvest. Did keep wondering what they do with the fish….. steaks? Sell the eggs?
