Not hunting related but wanted to share the wonderful day I had with my youngest, and of course, River.
The snow has sucked this season. This was the first time we actually got out on the backcountry skis this year. We were really only planning to cross country. Imagine my surprise as we drove in and the snow was way more than expected! We had a ball doing some meadow skiing. Couldn't pursue anything steeper because the avy danger was definitely high. What a great day.
