Finally had a chance to get out again tonight. I had a total of 12 come in. 3 adults and 9 little babies. Decided to take the biggest one of the bunch, a nice sow about 100-110 lbs. had been real windy here. It was blowing 23 consistent with 30 gusts and being up in the mountains it blows just a bit harder. Lol. Feel like I have this dialed in now. I have pigs constantly coming into 2 sites during daylight hours. This is the fourth pig since Jan 14 and I have passed on 2 others. . I switched to a fixed 3 blade head. The grim reaper hades 100gr head. Blew right through one shoulder blade and out the other side. Stuck in the dirt a good 8-10 inches. Pig never made it out from the bait site. Ran a right circle and piled up right under the feeder. No more expandable for me and luckily I won’t be switching arrows to heavier ones. Amazing how much different the fixed blade head is. I used to shoot muzzy 3 blades for years and never had a problem with them. I just decided to hop on the expandable band wagon. Well I am back to fixed blade heads !!! As soon as the site lets me I will upload a pic or two.

Devastating hole with that new head. Keep on em! Is there a processor that can make bacon and such?

No bacon from These. They are pretty lean. If they had enough meat and fat on them I could do it myself. I pretty much save the straps and tenderloins. Maybe keep a rear quarter. Everything else goes into a grind pile for sausage or ground pork for things like potstickers, patties and whatever weird things I can come up with
