Jim Bridger

Anyone else watching the show, tall tails of Jim Bridger on INSP? Kind of a fun show to watch. I’m not sure if they are his actual tails from his journal but nonetheless it’s an entertaining show.

Man among the mountains ….had numerous tribal wives, not at same time, they seemed to die often , usually child birth. he was gone most of the time, he would come back to another child and off he go to barter for a new wife.

Spent his last days living with one of his daughter in Missouri sitting on the porch looking west, not that he could see, most likely because syphilis took his sight. A common malady then.

I hit the record button. I will check it out.
