My 3 year old red lab is pregnant and due mid April with 6+ puppies. I’d love for them to go to hunting homes! She loves pheasant hunting, duck hunting and goose hunting. But she’s also cool with chilling on the couch haha. The father is an absolute stud bird dog. He’s 5 year old yellow American lab. I’ll post some pics.. message me if interested or if you want more info. We are keeping one female, and have two others accounted for. Thanks!

Amazing! I’ve actually never owned a dog and have considered it many times. It’s a huge commitment but seems pretty awesome.

Noob- it’s definitely a commitment, but they’re awesome.
Arlow- they flush. I’ve been considering getting a pointing dog and running them both for pheasants.

Both is interesting. I hunt my springer with my buddies GSP and we let my dog flush the birds the GSP points many times. It is quite effective. I do much prefer a flushing dog, I hate kicking birds.

X-ray today shows 11 puppies but maybe up to 15!.. still a few un accounted for… contact me for more info. Great bird dogs great family dogs

15?! You need to find some good homes. If I wasn’t getting knee surgery soon I’d be all for it! I’ll keep this in mind if I hear any of my friends say they’re thinking about getting a dog.

Moon, how much are you asking for the pups. I just picked up my 8 week old GSP yesterday and told the breeder I'd spread the word for the pups he has remaining. I'll help spread the word about your great looking dogs as well!

Congrats on the pup Eric! What a beauty. Pups are 2500 bucks. Both dogs registered. Health screenings for the mom, not for the dad. Dad has had 2 healthy litters in he past. 500 deposit to decide picking order. We have 4 deposits so far and we are keeping one. When we had the ultrasound doc said maybe 5 or 6 pups…. So I stopped taking deposits. After the X-ray it’s time to start marketing haha. Thanks so much!

Thanks! There was 12. One had a cleft palate. He was give to a woman in CT that runs a non profit specifically for rehabilitating dogs with this. She will tube feed him and get him the care he needs. Hopefully it works out, at least he’s got a fighting chance.
The other 11 are doing great! Mom is too. She was so happy this morning running wide open as fast as she can lol
