That's gonna work. Will the ripstop let fluids pond up inside, or does it allow enough vapor through that "ponding" wont occur? I think it's a super set up, just hit me that the fluid trapping possibility was there - maybe????
Definitely stronger than most, way lighter and easier to use than my cotton / poly ones (only used a few times) and way the heck cheaper than buying some fancy new ones.
Another cool project Pete!

Nice! I've used Alaska game bags for years, they vac seal to the size of a softball, which is great, but I bet yours is lighter for longer excursions. I used one of my buddy's bags last season, a commercially produced product, and it looked very similar to your bag.

Will, it's breathable so it should leach every so slightly. I can always add a bleeding hole at the corners if needed. Looking forward to testing it!
I've been meaning to make these for the last two years. Finally found a material that I think checks off the boxes.

I've used old pillow cases for deer.

Done. Made eight bags, four for me, four for my son in law.
Reduced overall weight of four bags by half pound compared to my old ones. Four bags have the bulk of one of the old ones. Should be much more durable. Have the ability to hang in a tree. Still quite breathable. Time to test them out.
