Been watching the updates on IRMA, and along with the potential loss of human life and property, there's also a whole lot of wildlife down there that is going to get hammered as well.
Got to thinking first about all the gators, assorted non-native pythons, and all the indigenous snakes that are likely to get pushed right into some of the higher population areas, and end up stranded far from home when the water drops.
There's also a load of species unique to that area, and no doubt they'll take a hit.
Thoughts and prayers for all you folks down there; keep your asses safe! Also, don't forget the snake tongs and a 12ga. when you go back home.... :)

Very true. Prayers to everyone and everything in the hurricane's path. Those gators have been dealing with hurricanes long before us and they will still be there dealing with them when we are gone!

Hurricane Jose is coming behind Irma and a tropical depression off Cape Verde islands called 99L has the potential of forming into another.

At least we won't have to worry about hurricane Jose...Trump won't let it in the United States.
