My son had a funny one happen. Well, funny to everyone but one person.
He was stationed at Pearl Harbor in the Navy. He and two buddies from the sub were walking down a Honolulu street, and the folks were passing out the little "hooker cards" like they do on the Vegas strip. Somebody hands my son one, and he looks at it, turns to his friend and says, "Don't hit me, man. This is your wife."
And it was. A messy divorce followed.

6 month or 12 month widows were quite common in San Diego. (that's what we used to call them among other things) As soon as, and I do mean as soon as their husbands left a lot of wives would be in the clubs trolling for men! Sad, but true! I never did, but I had a few friends that hooked up with a few of them. One of my good friends was a SEAL and was deployed on a mission. He came home and found his neighbor in bed with his wife. That man is lucky he is still alive. My buddy was true warrior, but very very level headed.
