"The Department of Homeland Security issued a bulletin warning Americans about the potential threat of terrorists using weaponized drones as possible means to attack commercial aircrafts in America. The updated bulletin also included warnings of chemical attacks."

I fear that the worst is yet to come.

The children's fable "The Three Little Pigs" was never considered when America built their house but believed in that other fable "strawberry fields forever". Now the experienced wolf has returned and hastily laid bricks ain't gonna get it. This is the liberal/progressive America's story at its simple core, and all the people who listened and believed are scrambling because no place is safe, and we are the benefactors of immigration and liberals run amok. We could get into the historical fact of the Trojan Horse but that will be for another day.

I think our greatest enemies are sittin on Capital Hill. The Marxist/Statist politicians that somebody keeps voting in.

AGREED! If THEY did the job we hired them for then the above wouldn't be near the threat that it is.

I agree, the politicians are our greatest threat. On both sides of the isle.

Democrats and Republicrats both have violated our Constitutional rights.

Woodrow Wilson and Teddy Roosevelt...the Fathers of the Progressives.

We can pin this travesty on ourselves because those politicians did not just walk in and take a seat on their own. No. We are the problem and that fact has been time tested and proven over decades. When we can accept the reality that we are not capable of judgement in character in the political arena and are so easily manipulated, will government change. We long for our country to return and wish to hearken back to days of old. Our clueless and uneducated but hard working parents who sacrificed for that moment in time we now cherish, warned us of this day. I laughed at the prospect that money can't buy everything. Generally speaking Americans live fat and that is all that matters, but fat can be a killer. Some hear with their ears, some with their eyes, some with their pockets. Some hear not at all. The present political roll call is the fruit and results of our own self made contrived and never ending frustration. Why complain?...waiter!

They win if they create any anxiety at all in your life. Driving is more dangerous 1000x over. You have as much control over these things today as you did 20 years ago it =zero

From: Rocky

Whitey, I agree 100%. A question I must ask. Control. Where and with who would that power lay? That would explode the myth of freedom and protections from the Constitution if the answer be anything but the people.

Since this is all hypothetical anyway, they only have as much control over your lives as you allow.

And since Ted R. was brought up as the first socialist, wasn't he also the one who started the public lands thing everyone is up in arms about...?

From: Bownarrow

HDE, yes he was! We need to get rid of the socialist idea of public lands and let the free market work in privatizing land and game! (eye roll).

Violators of the Constitution? Ted Roosevelt would kick your arse punk! Vision to protect the greatest lands of the greatest country that ever was. What part of the Constitution did Ted violate? He might roll out of his grave from his ranch in North Dakota and slap your sissy mouth just for typing it. (question: History buffs, is he buried at his ranch or back east?). Don't sass the Teddy.

Teddy did some good things but you're not disagreeing with me you're disagreeing with the facts of history.

Guess we need drone control and background checks for purchasing them. Maybe a ten day waiting period. Nobody NEEDS a drone, it's a weapon of war.

When it's your kin or friends that are dead we'll see how open minded people are.

But if they would let us have anti-aircraft weapons then maybe that would even the odds a tad!

Seriously though....if the local mosque had a "Drones For Allah" training course that wouldn't concern you?

Or how about a "clock" making seminar? Or an "offensive" driving course?

TGBow, I was just having some fun; it's cool that you pulled out some historical Presidents that each played a part in shaping what the US is today. I won't argue with you on each's role, but I would add that you can say the same thing about many of the Presidents since who acted or did not act to alter their predecessors' work. And let's not forget that Congress passed the laws each President signed. Anyway, I thought it was a neat reference. More on topic with the OP, maybe this is the time to go Alaska/old school and have people get back into general aviation flying Cessna's around. It's a great way to get into remote places for hunting too!

Bownarrow, you're right...even my 2 favorite presidents in my life time did things I dont agree with. But, I liked them overall. Ole Woodrow and Teddy couldn't stand each other but they did have a common goal. I think both our major parties , as far as leadership goes, are headed on the same direction...just takin different paths. Heck, JFK wouldn't be welcomed in any of the 2 parties today..lol

Bownarrow - what...?

Sassing Roosevelt...? What!?!?

Don't know where that rant came from, but damn, you pulled something from thin air. The point to my comment was don't hold someone in high esteem one moment, then damn something else they did the next.

Nevermind we have forced healthcare, because now we have...

"The point to my comment was don't hold someone in high esteem one moment, then damn something else they did the next."

So you are saying if I liked the SCOTUS judge Trump picked I have to sing his praises for the things I don't like?

That is a perfect example of "team sport" politics and the failure that is the two party system....

I will give people credit when I agree and Damn them when I don't...

Let me try again. "Ted Roosevelt was horrible because he was one of the first progressives, but none of that matters because he was the conservation saving president because of his public lands inititive."

Nevermind I guess. Made sense at the time when I typed it up, maybe not so much anymore...
