Two Feathers's Link
Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves. Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears.
The great need of the hour is for you and me to warn the church of the false teachers that have come in among the church through a religious Trojan horse. These false teachers are speaking perverse things. The word perverse actually means speaking distorted or twisted things. Today, false teachers are promoting a form of godliness but denying God as spoken of in 2 Timothy 3:5.
Jude 3 also warns of the religious Trojan horse when we read, " for certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ."
2 Peter 2:1-2 further reveals the need for Christians to guard ourselves and the flock from the deception of the religious Trojan horse:
But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.
It is from this growing false, dominate church that I believe Christians are going to receive a great deal of persecution. It is for this reason we must equip and train the church to understand that persecution is to be expected for the true believer that is contending for the gospel. 2 Timothy 3:12 tells us to expect this:
Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
**** It is for this reason Worldview Weekend and Worldview Weekend Foundation is working to equip and encourage the church to proclaim the gospel, suffer for the gospel, defend the gospel, and rejoice in the gospel. Here are some verses that I pray will encourage you as they have me.
Defend the Gospel: 1 Timothy 6:20, 2 Timothy 1:13, 2:25, Proclaim The Gospel: I Corinthians 15:3-4, 2 Timothy 1:8, 2:15, 4:2 Suffer for the Gospel: 2 Timothy 1:8, 2:3, 2:8-9, 3:12, 4:2 Rejoice in the Gospel: Romans 8:18, 2 Timothy 4:7-8 Romans 8:18 is such an encouragement to me:
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
2 Timothy 4:7-8 is what I pray will be true of you and of me:
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.

click, got it, thanks....but you should add the recent addendum that allows favorable hate speech for those more equal
From the WashingPost ... Supreme Court unanimously reaffirms: There is no ‘hate speech’ exception to the First Amendment By Eugene Volokh June 19, 2017 The Supreme Court building in Washington. (J. Scott Applewhite/Associated Press) From today’s opinion by Justice Samuel Alito (for four justices) in Matal v. Tam, the “Slants” case:
[The idea that the government may restrict] speech expressing ideas that offend … strikes at the heart of the First Amendment. Speech that demeans on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, age, disability, or any other similar ground is hateful; but the proudest boast of our free speech jurisprudence is that we protect the freedom to express “the thought that we hate.”
Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote separately, also for four justices, but on this point the opinions agreed:
A law found to discriminate based on viewpoint is an “egregious form of content discrimination,” which is “presumptively unconstitutional.” … A law that can be directed against speech found offensive to some portion of the public can be turned against minority and dissenting views to the detriment of all. The First Amendment does not entrust that power to the government’s benevolence. Instead, our reliance must be on the substantial safeguards of free and open discussion in a democratic society.
And the justices made clear that speech that some view as racially offensive is protected not just against outright prohibition but also against lesser restrictions. In Matal, the government refused to register “The Slants” as a band’s trademark, on the ground that the name might be seen as demeaning to Asian Americans. The government wasn’t trying to forbid the band from using the mark; it was just denying it certain protections that trademarks get against unauthorized use by third parties. But even in this sort of program, the court held, viewpoint discrimination — including against allegedly racially offensive viewpoints — is unconstitutional. And this no-viewpoint-discrimination principle has long been seen as applying to exclusion of speakers from universities, denial of tax exemptions to nonprofits, and much more.
(Justice Neil Gorsuch wasn’t on the court when the case was argued, so only eight justices participated.)
Of course that would result in some descrimination but that's the price we would pay for freedom of choice.
The left contradict themselves often...they want to pick n choose who has rights.
Im curious why Paul called this organization a hate group?
The First Amendment doesn’t give people the right to make direct, personal threats of immediate violence. This can include intimidating symbolic actions like burning a cross that are meant to make specific victims fear for their lives, even if the cross-burners don’t actually plan to carry through with the threat (Virginia v. Black, 538 U.S. 343 (2003).)

Not my cup of tea, but no idea from that link why they'd be protested. I know if they showed up to protest me going to an "Evolution is Awesome" meeting I'd be upset I had to deal with it, but it would be interesting to have discussions with non-believers (of evolution/science) about it. I've had some awesome discussions with friends who believe in intelligent design. If they are not hurting folks, they ought to be able to enjoy the meeting.
You and yours really are quite evil. How you look in mirror and live with the knowing lies you spread is beyond me.
I am against racism myself but I don't fling that accusation out there every time I disagree with somebody. So, being a Christian is the same as being a hater? Liberals have no substance to their position...plain and simple, so all they can do is throw stuff out there if they don't agree with you.
Yes, the crowd that preaches anti Jewish stuff, they are out there and I think they are not preaching Christianity.
But at least have the back bone to not accuse groups of racism and hate when they are not pushing that.
I disagree with a lot of these leftist out there but I don't want to silence anybody because I disagree with them. If you are an atheist, Muslim, Hindu..whatever, I will pray for your conversion but fight for your right to speak your mine and worship how you choose...at least I am not like most of the Utopian leftist that want to shut somebody down because I disagree with them.
In all fairness there are those types on the right also, but not near as many as the left.
It is stupid to give someone a more harsher sentence because of what they may think or believe. If you commit murder it shouldn't matter. Hate speech is really stupid also. That is a violation of the 1st amendment that the left loves to use. I'm not talking about someone threatening to blow up a building or murder someone publicly. If somebody calls me a white cracker low down dog, that's ok as long as they don't physically try to harm me. I may not like it but that's ok. The truth is thee are those that want to wipe out anything Christian and that's not ok. I don't want to stop anyone from worshiping how they choose or expressing their belief in public, but I can't say the same for some of these groups around today.
My expectations are so low regarding leftists and their views on others rights and what they "should be" as opposed to what the constitution says they are..... it's not surprising to see PaulZ and Lefty cozying up to and supporting violent threats. It's who and what they are. "Anti-fascist" indeed...... so self-unaware..... the hypocrisy is lost in their self-righteous fog....
