Mel Johnson, our dear friend for many many years has passed! Mel held The Whitetail Typical World Record ...... taken with a recurve ..... in Illinois 50+ years ago. Mel always enjoyed talking Bow Hunting and to Bow Hunters. Mel has not hunted for a few years do to age and health issues, but his heart Was and is still Is chasing 'critters'. He was very sad he could not hunt like before. But his heart and mind was still actively out there. He will be missed by many .... he was a great guy and my prayers for him and his whole family at this sad time! ..... -}}}}}}}}}}----------------->

Amazing to think how many dreams were sparked by Mel and that fateful day. RIP Mr. Johnson.
