My family and I had the Honor and Privilege to lay my Great Uncle to rest at Arlington earlier this month. I can not say enough about the Air Force Honor Guard, Sharp, Professional Good. Even in 90 plus heat those young men were great. We then went on a tour of the grounds, and I can honestly say I had tears standing in my eyes the entire time. My generation walked around with quiet reverence, and respect, while most of the younger people walked around with their face in their phones. I even got to see the changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown. Very moving.
