Canada has given the US refuge during 9/11. They’ve supported us in every war including the landing on DDay w the 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion.
Now? We push away our allies as we schmooze w Putin and NK, calling Kim Jong Un “honorable?”
We have a trade surplus w Canada. That’s correct SURPLUS. But yet more tariffs? Why?
It’ll be interesting to see trump at the G-7. It’s not going to be fun for him. That’s for sure.
Please enlighten us to the facts of your claim so we can have a reason to join the never Trump train too. Until then, as long as you complain without merit, youll be ignored!

1). In a UN resolution meeting, Nikki Haley asked every member to stand w the US on a resolution. Not one agreed. Not one. In the past, every nation would’ve stood with us because being friends w the US used to mean something. Today? It would mean being harassed and harangued by trump.
2). Our approval rating in the world has fallen from 48% to just under 30%.
3). The Gallup poll puts our global approval of US leadership at just 30%, slightly behind China on 31% and only three points ahead of Russia. Germany is now the top-rated global power in the world, with an approval rating of 41%.
So basically he's pissed that he has to do his actual job?
Trump is set to demonstrate at the G7 summit in Quebec--once again--that he never learned to play well with others. While the news may focus on some inane, alienating comment by Trump, the bigger story is the long-term damage Trump is doing to our international interests.
Canada is also the #1 importer of US agricultural products, more than even China. But sure, piss them off some more.

Russia is not a friend. What the hell is he thinking?
Keep throwing them out there...eventually maybe one of them will come true!
In the meantime, the rest of us will keep winning.
Watch and learn keyboard pansies and try to untwist your panties lefty tutu.
Please tell Prime Minister Trudeau and President Macron that they are charging the U.S. massive tariffs and create non-monetary barriers. The EU trade surplus with the U.S. is $151 Billion, and Canada keeps our farmers and others out. Look forward to seeing them tomorrow.

The entire Trump presidency is about trading US assets and US security for cash/business opportunities/perks/trademarks/loans for Trump and his family
Trump gave Putin 1,2, fought for 3 & tried to give 4.
Trump's demand that Putin be restored to his place in the once-upon-a-time G8—currently G7—must be explained as exactly what it is: *sanctions relief*. Which is why Putin wanted trump in the WH.
The entire Trump-Russia scandal is about Trump trading sanctions relief for business opportunities in Russia. It's that simple. So far, its working out for both Putin and Trump.
President Trump has taken the Godzilla Trump meme to levels beyond ordinary imaginings. In advance of the G7 summit in Charlevoix, Canada Prime Minister Trudeau sounded the alarm and called in all like-minded allies to help fend off horrible Trump and his arsenal of tariffs.
French President Emmanuel Macron responded to Trudeau’s plea and arrived two-days early to coordinate the strategic message. Together they were looking for leverage in advance of Godzilla Trump’s arrival. Germany’s Angela Merkel, and U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May even brought non-G7 members European Council President Donald Tusk, and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker as back-up.
Apparently the six-against-one plan was considered unfair to the six, so they added two more. Unfortunately for Canada, France, Germany and the U.K., Japanese PM Shinzo Abe and Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte are not foolish enough to take on Godzilla.
As an entirely predictable outcome, President Trump won again. It’s just so darned funny to watch this play out. The era of the titan is back, and deliciously the titan is an American President, Donald J Trump. He’s one guy, and he has them all surrounded; and he’s laughing the entire time. He’s impenetrable, sharp, funny as heck and monolithic in stature making all of his opposition look decidedly less-than.
Emmanuel Macron and Justin Trudeau (like the Closet Democrat & P.C.T.P.) try to use pontificating snark; it matters not. They seem like foolish gnats. Merkel, May, Tusk and Junker are standing there with their jaws agape. Shinzo Abe and Giuseppe Conte are trying not to laugh – but gosh, you can tell they are loving it. Titans just don’t get embarrassed, they dominate.
British Prime Minister Theresa May gave it the old college try on Friday warning both Trump and the EU of the dangers of entering a tit-for-tat trade war over tariffs, and urging both sides to instead focus on China’s excess steel production. Trump responded: “We’re going to deal with the unfair trade practices. If you look at what Canada, and Mexico, the European Union – all of them – have been doing to us for many, many decades. We have to change it. And they understand it’s going to happen,” Trump said.
Have a crumpet.
(Reuters) U.S. trading partners are furious over Trump’s decision last week to impose tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from Canada, the European Union and Mexico as part of his “America First” agenda. Some have retaliated.
Trump just doesn’t care.
Friday’s trade session, where G7 allies planned to confront the U.S. president over trade tariffs, had “some emotions” but was civilized and diplomatic, said the official who followed the talks.
“The other leaders presented their numbers and Trump presented his. As expected he did not budge.
[…] Expectations for a breakthrough at the summit, however, are low, with U.S. allies focused on avoiding rupturing the G7, which in its 42-year history has tended to seek consensus on major issues.
“It’s highly unlikely there will be a final communique,” a G7 official said on condition of anonymity.
"Trump was presented with a picture of his Grandfather’s Canadian hotel. Turns out his grandfather was running a brothel."
That's all you got....bahaha, so what!? Actually googled it, its a very cool story I did not know, thanks. Rugged individualism, vision, intelligence, determination, capitalist, entrepreneur, I guess I miss your point. It was the 1800's for Cripes Sake. An excerpt below...
"After boarding a crowded ship to Alaska, Trump trekked over mountains, through Canadian customs, and to the Yukon River where he had to build a boat from scratch and transport a year's worth of personal supplies. The worst was a notorious mountain pass. The U.S. National Parks Service estimates 3,000 animals died on the White Pass, with many bones still visible today in its so-called Dead Horse Gulch."
President Trump Proposes ZERO Tariffs, ZERO Barriers, and ZERO Subsidies at G7 Summit
This ought to push the (entitlement) globalists back on their heels.
President Trump on Saturday challenged G7 leaders to make the G7 a tariff free and subsidy free zone.
“We’re the piggy bank that everybody is robbing,” Trump said. “And that ends.”
No bowing, no appeasement prattle, good ol cut to the chase reality check.
My wife and I rode the White Pass Railway on vacation in Skagway Alaska last month. It follows the dead horse trail that men walked up to get to the Yukon during the gold rush. I can't imagine carrying a years worth of supplies up those mountains just to get to the Yukon River... and then have to build a boat that would get them down the Yukon.... I probably would have spent a few nights at Trump's tavern to get some rest before I tried.
We visited the Red Onion Saloon in Skagway..... It too was a brothel. One of the girls that works there dressed up in the original working girl clothes greeted us at the door and asked my wife...... "You looking for a job ?"............ Ha !!!!
Pat, it's time for this triggered idiot to go!
But pure Subservience to Putin.
Why? What’s in it for America to cowtow to Putin vs what’s in it for America to make nice with our Allies. Are there trade issues? No doubt. But by every measure trump is literally inviting Putin into the Allies and rewarding his poor behavior. Again. Why?
Trade is more complicated then what’s been described. and there are good deals & bad deals. But starting a trade war is stupid & hurts Americans. Every economist agrees. Including Kudlow.
You MUST understand that the US represents only 5% of the world population. There are well over 1 billion people on this planet with incomes that match or are above those of American's 300 million plus. They have MANY trading opportunities WITHOUT the USA. MAGA is a CON job.
And while we’re at it. From Trumps own trade Office:
US-Canada Trade Facts, 2017
Total goods & services trade: $673.9 billion
US exports: $341.2 billion US imports: $332.8 billion
US trade SURPLUS: $8.4 billion
(data from US Trade Representative webpage)
So why are we alienating Canada again? Any good reason at all?
Indicated multiple times they would love to trade Leaders, lol !
In fact, a lot of people seem to like Trump.
Of course, they tell me Alberta is the "Texas of Canada," so maybe it doesn't represent all of Canada very accurately.

I have spoken a few times to our neighbors up north while in bear and moose camp. Your observations are exactly what I have witnessed. Some favor the Liberal govt in QC but the majority hands down do not like it. The further west you go in Canada the more noticeable it seems. On the Liberal side....I was in a moose camp in northern QC. I struck up a conversation with one of the older ladies who worked there about politics one night. One of her relatives had recently bought a new house and when the economy started to go south up there this relative was about to lose his house. She, with a straight face, firmly felt the Canadian govt should be making the house payments for him and anyone else in trouble. I asked her where the money will come from and she stated raise the taxes on the wealthy folks to make other's house payments....and she was serious. It was a great discussion and an eye opener for me. On the flip side....the owner of the camp was in a different political party than her. I think he was a doctor or lawyer. She liked the owner but didn't like his political party. I don't know where he stood but she wasn't kind about his party. We ended up hugging at the end of the evening. Her two daughters worked at the moose camp and they were very cute. I think one of them was one of the bush pilots.
What is going to be interesting is if Trudeau puts a tariff on the U.S. hunters and fishermen that cross the border. There was talk a few years back of splitting the country up. Not sure where that went.
"Fair" Trade. Leftists use the word "fair" a lot. But their meaning is different than what most folks think they mean. "Fair" to leftists does not mean equal. It's giving handicaps, changing the rules to get more equal RESULTS, not equal RULES to the game, with all playing by the same rules. In Monopoly they would give most of the money to the worst players at the start..... to make it "fair". They would give the slower players a head start. They hand out Participation trophies..... don't keep score, etc. to get what they feel is a "fair" outcome.
In reality their "fair" is simply a ploy to justify cheating. As with most things they do..... the lies, the cheating..... it's all justifiable for their "cause". Takiyyah.
