Please think about this idea to reduce illegal immigration by creating a win-win situation.
Let's agree to take in illegals that have been properly vetted, in exchange for sending their country of origin one U.S. left wing idealogue for every immigrant.
Think about it, these countries are in sad shape, at least some of which is due to their socialist/communist policies. By sending our so called "experts" in these areas to the disaster areas, they will be able to in 10-20 years turn these countries into a panacea of all that is good and right.
After their glorious ideas have been implemeneted for awhile, the economic situations of these countries will be vastly greater than that of the U.S. At this point, immigration will reverse itself to the point that all leftists will head for their greener pastures.
I am sure we can find many willing participants currently employed in our colleges. Do you think this idea has merit?
I think we need to acquire space in the places/nations these people are coming from, take them there, and then start the vetting process/legal contortions, etc. In the meantime, they may just wander off and go home which would take care of it.
If they need medical care, food, shelter, etc, it is no longer on Uncle Sam.

HFW, my immigration plan for years is for every vetted immigrant, two people have to leave the country. And I get to pick the two......
I'd certainly ask for help from the Bowsite regulars when selecting those to deport.

I think we should have system where for every illegal that comes here that WANTS to work, we should let them stay and kick out 2 able bodied welfare recipients.
We should colonize those countries from which the preponderance of migrants come.
^^^ had to read it again. I don't WANT to work, but I'm not a wellfare recipient either. ;^)
