It seems our President was betrayed again by someone close to him... i can't understand how these are not traitorous crimes against the US? If I recorded conversations between my boss and I, I would be immediately escorted off the premises and probably sued. There is something big-time wrong with the Justice Dept..of the President... what does Secret Service do to keep our leader safe? The coup is so obvious and we just sit back and watch our great Democracy torn down piece by piece. Congress needs to act, unless they are so deep in the crap themselves.

Devices should be checked by SS, upon arrival and departure of any person in contact with the President that is not at the highest clearance level... Mr. Trump is to trusting and a tad gullible when it comes to this. Secret Service should be addament about this procedure. Have you ever heard of a Clinton being taped and betrayed? Ain't happening... they commit suicide with two bullet's to the back of the head.

Is it people feeling like they can make $$$ off this stuff in today's insta-news world, or do people feel like "no one will believe what he is saying/doing, and I dont want to be slammed as I head out the door so I'll start taping things"? I've never thought to record a random conversation, no idea what motivates that.

If it happened in New York....I think it is legal for one-party taping. That is one party can tape another party without their knowledge or consent. Think of Gretch Carlson.
