Florence to mess up the Carolinas

The worse storm to ever his North Carolina was Hazel, in 1954. I remember that storm well. This hurricane is supposed to be stronger. I have seen the roads washed out on the Outer Banks and there is a store that has water levels marked on the posts in the store. I think they may get a new high water mark but I hope not.

I was in SC for Hugo also, and many more. We just moved to southern Va a year ago and I don't miss the weather related stress, nor wild hogs.

I love to go out of the Oregon Inlet on the Outer Banks to catch tuna. It wasn't even there years ago, a hurricane formed that inlet.
