Flashback. August 19, 2016. Newt Gingrich: "Nobody should underestimate how much Paul Manafort did to really help get this campaign to where it is right now."

And now Manafort flips! the Manafort deal stipulates he: -Must cooperate fully with the Government in “any and all matters as to what the Government deems the cooperation relevant.”

-Agrees to testify at any proceeding in any federal district, including grand juries

How nervous is trumplethinskin?

FYI Mueller is undefeated. He’s gotten guilty pleas in every single case so far. That’s a hard charging Devil Dog for ya!! OoohRaah!

Alan Dershowitz today on Manafort cooperation: “ It is a “big win” for Mueller because “it opens doors that haven’t been opened before.” And it’s worrisome, he acknowledged, for trump and his junior”.

Justice is coming.

Should We Trust Informants?

Story By Maggie Koerth-Baker FiveThrityEigh.com

But what we do know is that, when researchers study situations where people went to prison for crimes they did not commit, informant testimony was one of the four major factors contributing to those convictions.

For instance, out of the 330 people exonerated by DNA evidence as of 2015, 24 percent of those convictions involved informant testimony, according to research by University of Virginia law professor Brandon Garrett. An earlier study from the Northwestern University School of Law’s Center on Wrongful Convictions, which focused just on capital cases, turned up even higher rates: Of the 111 death row inmates exonerated between the reinstatement of the death penalty in 1976 and 2004, 45.9 percent of their cases involved informant testimony. According to both Garrett and the National Registry of Exonerations, the use of incentivized informants seems to be more common in capital cases than it is when the stakes are lower.

JTV,

Why do you care? Is Manafort your daddy? Your spirit animal? What is wrong with you?

Beyond that , Mueller just paid for his team and got the witness he needed. It’s game over. Trump is burnt flesh.

Sorry JTV your boys going down.

#FLIP: PAUL MANAFORT AGREES TO COOPERATE WITH MUELLER #FLOP: But the Cooperation Will Not Concern the Trump Campaign #TWIST: Feds Weighing Charges Against Clinton Lawyer and Former WH Counsel Greg Craig —Ace of Spades

Aww. So close.

"...Well, if he's not turning state's witness against Trump, then who?

Well it could include the guys he worked with -- including longtime Clinton supporter and brother of Jon Podesta, Tony Podesta..."

Federal Prosecutors Weighing Charges Against For Obama WH Counsel Greg Craig

This may be who Manafort is “cooperating” on and maybe Podesta as well.

(CNN)Federal prosecutors in New York are weighing criminal charges against former Obama White House counsel Greg Craig as part of an investigation into whether he failed to register as a foreign agent in a probe that is linked to former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, according to sources familiar with the matter.

In addition, these sources said, prosecutors in the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York are considering taking action against powerhouse law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where Craig was a partner during the activity under examination. Prosecutors are considering a civil settlement with the firm or a deferred prosecution agreement with Skadden, these sources said.

An attorney for Craig, who left the Skadden firm in April and who was White House counsel under President Barack Obama during the first year of that administration, said his client “was not required to register under the Foreign Agent Registration Act.” A spokeswoman for Skadden didn’t respond to a request for comment.

All very cute Jeffrey. HOWEVER

Mueller will now get full answers as to

-Why Manafort was hired for no pay when he was dead broke and in debt for MILLIONS. If that’s not suspicious, please give us your theory.

-Why the GOP changed it's platform towards Ukraine when we know Manafort worked with the Russians on a Ukraine deal.

-What happened in the Trump Tower meeting. Manafort was there and on the phone the whole time. With who? It better not be trump because both trump and junior said trump wasn’t aware or involved in the meeting.

-Why Mike Pence was chosen as a running mate by Manafort.

All links That Manafort knew about Trump/Russia connections

Game. Set. Match.

And by the way, Paul Manafort has EVERYTHING to do with trump. . Who the heck do you think Manafort’s flipping on?

This White House is full of it. We literally can’t trust a word they say. It’s nothing but a criminal organization at this point. Run by the biggest criminal of all, Trump.

Keep supporting him though. Watching you flounder when all the evidence comes out will be worth it. So totally worth it.

JTV,

Are you losing it? Seek help.

Mueller paid for the investigation with this settlement. I'm glad the taxpayers won't have to. The government also now owns an apartment in Trump Tower. That is funny.

So concerned about the money Mueller is spending to get justice but not a peep on trumps golf spending? You’re suspect. You’re credibility is suspect.

Didn't Manafort work a deal where a large some of Russian money was funneled into the Clinton Foundation?

SB,

Mueller just seized $46m in assets because he a prosecutor that is systematically dismantling a criminal enterprise. Trump and his cronies are out of their depth and appear to have strategy completely based on bluster and cockamamie conspiracy theories. In the real world, Trump has a major legal problem and so does everybody else that is still party to the joint defense agreement. President Bonespur has devil dog looking to take him down. I definitely wouldn't want to be Trump. It's gotta suck right about now.

What did Manifort know or NOT know?

Perhaps he knows and will disclose damaging evidence against Trump.

But OTOH, perhaps he has NOTHING of value to tell Mueller and will thereby exhonerate Trump.

Until he testifies under oath, and assuming he tells the truth, no one here knows Jack.
