i have said that Hillary, Rosenstein, Lerner, and their like are way to cocky and sure of themselves... no fear attitudes made me suspect a while ago how deep the corruption runs, they have systems in place to avoid any investigations and I don't even want to know how nasty they can get.

I stop reading anytime I see someone say “we sold 20% of our uranium to the Russians.” We didn’t. We sold what was at the time roughly 20 percent of the currently licensed uranium in-situ recovery production capacity. As some one who works in an extractive industry, I can assure you reserves and production capacity are two entirely differ things. So, yeah, if the rest of the above text is as accurate as that claim then I wouldn’t give it much credence.

So what's your point? Do you think someone is doing something shifty?

And really ... "What difference does it make?"

Let's call Mark Fuhrman ... he has a knack for solving such mysteries...

FOX will probably have Mark on tonight.

Take that back, they are all Kavanaugh, all the time in the evening. This will have to wait.

"I stop reading anytime I see someone say “we sold 20% of our uranium to the Russians.” "

Me too, Beg. That lie is getting real old. It immediately tells me the author has no interest in writing a fair and balanced piece.

Glad you cleared that up Jeff, I didn't know;)

Uranium One didn't buy uranium, they bought mining rights. That's it.

It's like this. Say I wrote a deal with 5 neighbor kids to each pick 20% of the apples off my apple tree each year. I could pay them a flat rate, or by the apple, pound, bushel, whatever...Either way, I still own the apples and control what is done with them.

Now, let's say one of the kids decides he no longer wants to pick my apples. So, he sells his picking rights to a Russian kid, with my approval of course. I still own the apples and control how they are used.

It's was basically the same deal with Uranium One.

I miss the good old days when we mocked politicians for photo ops in tanks, and not inhaling, stains on dresses...

Back to topic, Spike... The Clinton's are crooks! Reasonable people agree. I believe this is what was so devastating to the liberal power base when Trump won. Not so much that he won, but that the Clinton's were out of power; that there was no one in a position to perpetuate the appointments of those who would saturate our institutions with their socialist policies. That has been put on hold and is very slowly being rolled back. Praise God! I wish we had an AG willing to pull the Clinton cabal down.

I must have missed it, did you write it SB, or was this from a source of some sort?

KPC... no. way... Glad my first instinct was: where's it from...

Spike posted it, Will. That means there was 50% chance it was from creepingsharia.com and a 40% chance it was from some other conspiracy oriented site that you’ve never heard of.

Actually it's from the Freerepublic, the pontificator was being disingenuous as usual.

21-Sep-18
Well Slade, are you big enough to apologize?

21-Sep-18
Good for you Kevin, but if one is living a life guided by the lessons in the Bible, an apology should be offered, IMHO.

Much easier to Google Bible passages than it is to live them.

Kevin,

Each of us have our own way of making our point. Not a problem at all. Thanks.

Apples to apples or apples to oranges comparing this to Kavenaugh's accuser's claims?

There is probably more that can be validated or verified here than a 35 year recovered memory that lacks date and location.

Just saying. ;0)

AM, Perplexing to me...

If a liberal, say like Paul, initiated as many threads as Spike does with questionable information, he would be blasted by numerous folks here, and rightfully so.

What is different? Is it that Spike posts conservative stuff? His longevity here gives him mostly a free pass? He is just honestly more likeable?

Asking sincerely as it seems odd. Thanks

Actually, in my case, if I see Spike Bull started it, I know there is a high likelihood it is from an unreliable source, so I don't waste a lot of energy on it.
