OK. The winners have been chosen
First of all HOW THEY WERE PICKED
I used a standard deck of cards and assigned each entry a card Ace of spades , queen of hearts, 2 of clubs etc. Then I had my son who is a senior at Texas Tech university and his two roommates shuffle a deck of cards for each game and cut it for the winners.
I also spiced it up some as you will see

Very cool. Thanks, RK....
Thanks for doing this. Brought out a few lurkers and got everyone together and agreeing on something good. Not often that happened in the CF.
Cool thing you did brother.
I won! I won! Thanks man for the opportunity
I didn't win but thanks for doing this!
Well done RK - thanks for running this!
Thanks Rk My son is going to be very happy when I let him know he won!
Holy Cats!!! I was just looking at a worksharp a couple of days ago!!
I jumped in for the kids. And now, I kinda feel like I'm six and it's Christmas!!! Wow!! Thank you! I tend to be the guy that tunes up my buddies' knives.
I'm kicking around a few ideas on how to pay this forward.
Very cool, thanks for the chance, great game RK
In the spirit of the community forum's political spirit, I demand a recount.
Thanks for the opportunity.

And good luck to that boy of yours at Texas Tech! Graduated from there twice myself:-)
I think this whole thing was rigged by the DEMON COMMIES and funded by Soros. ;-)
Strong work, RK. I never knew so many people lurked on the CF.
Matt
Wow!!! I think this is the first thing I have ever won in my entire life.
Thank you very much for your generosity. I will make sure all my buddies and I have sharp knives now!
Thanks for your generosity!
Thanks for the chance, RK and congrats to the lucky ones!

Just a quick update
Except for one prize ALL others were put in the mail today!
They will all have new homes by The first of the week. Mail service from here sucks but at least we have it!!!
I want to publicly extend my sincere thanks to Rob.
This forum gets ugly at times, but, at it's roots are some unbelievably generous and decent people. Rob is one of them. Sure, we all don't agree on all things political, be we agree on things that matter the most, like giving is better than receiving.
You are a lucky and wise man, Rob, to have the blessing of generosity bestowed upon you, then reciprocate it with this bunch of clowns.
;-)
Thank you, brother.
Matt
I'd like to expand on Matt's comments. I've been fortunate to meet a number of people from this site and have established virtual relationships with others. For all the arguments and sometimes nastiness, think that most of us share a lot more in common than not. I've been part of the community from its beginning (at one time I had a two digit registration!) and there are some stories that many probably have never heard. If anyone is familiar with
Benefit 4 Kids, a large part of its roots exist right here. When Steve "Mutt" Pray first told of a simple little archery shoot to raise some money for a scholarship for his lost daughter, many here not only donated items and money; they actually came to that first shoot. And after a successful raising of over $1500, everyone said...next year? Steve was forced to create a 501(c) organization that remains strong today with a mission of providing outdoor adventures to life limited kids...taking up a gap that the much more famous Make-A-Wish Foundation refused to provide. MAW will not provide wishes to kids who want to go on hunts with their fathers or other outdoor adventures because of guns and sticks with pointy things on the end. You guys made B4K what it is. Further, when one of us had problems...people here were there to provide help in many ways. Robert is continuing the spirit of what the CF really is. Sometimes we just forget and events like this remind us of our better natures.

Damn, Jack, I like you better when you type your own words out, and stay away from the copy and paste buttons.
;-)
Matt

Another website I'm on does this often and it gets alot of folks talking. It maybe something for BS to formally consider to gen up some excitement and interest??
Nice. that worksharp is damn good too......I bought my son the ken onion version since he can't sharpen worth a damn.
