Every time I do research on candidates and political parties I just end up realizing they all suck. The Dems want to take guns and make everything into a national park that requires a permit to take a dump. The republicans want to transfer land to the state and argue about planned parenthood. Both Dems and Republicans are pro war and wasting a catastrophic amount of money in the Middle East with no clear end. The libertarians whose ideas I mostly support also want to transfer public lands and can’t get a real candidate on the national stage.
I feel no matter who I support I am still going to get bent over.
I think it's great that SOMEONE opposes taxpayer funded child murder, which is what Planned Parenthood does. If you want to butcher your unborn child then you will be the one who rots in hell. Just don't make ME pay for it.
Thats fine if you think they are going to hell but which party benefits sportsmen and conservationists the most?
Pretty short sighted, I vote for who I think will be better for the whole nation.

Dude, that frustrates me as well.
Let's see....the Dems say (like you can believe anything they say, but let's play pretend for a moment), that they are for open lands, blah, blah, blah, which some say will benefit sportsmen. But the EXACT SAME Democrats want to make it hard impossible for you do HUNT with any firearm that's much more than a single shot musket. Now this isn't even considering that under DEMOCRAT rule from 2008 to 2016, many of us COULDN'T AFFORD to take a trip to go hunting out west even if we wanted to!
Let's see.........better economy, less taxes, no forced socialist health care tax rammed down our throats, pro-2A judges GORSUCH and KAVANAUGH on the SCOTUS......umm.....I'll take the REPUBLICANS, warts and all.

Dude I completely agree with you. See attached link. I don’t like that the current administration and republicans are trying to open refuges to oil/gas, removing national monuments, and opening up national forests. On the flip side the Dems often load up on regs and red tape. Please note that the author may be left leaning.
I wonder just how much of turning over public lands to extraction and timber harvest are just political talking points.
Neither party is really for sportsmen and conservation. They use that for, hey! Political talking points.

One thing we have to look forward to if Democrats take Congress is the LGBTQ “Equality Act,” which Nancy Pelosi has promised to advance with high priority:
The act would add sexual orientation and gender identity to the 1964 Civil Rights Act, which already bars discrimination on the bases of race, color, sex, religion, and nationality. The Equality Act would expand those protections beyond the workplace. The bill would prohibit gender discrimination in retail shops, restaurants, health care, and social services, housing, applying for a loan, or participating in the jury selection process.
The word “equality” is used because superficially it sounds fair and reasonable. But in reality, “equal” means “more equal.” Fundamental rights like freedom of association are denied not on behalf of regular people, but on behalf of those deemed special by the government — like militant perverts.
One of the biggest issues conservatives have with the Equality Act is a provision in the law that forbids any employer or retailer from citing their faith to withhold services from LGBT individuals, a right guaranteed in the Religious Freedom Restoration Act passed in 1993. The Equality Act would essentially bypass the Religious Freedom Restoration Act and make it illegal for religious business owners to refuse service.
Christian bakers, photographers, and filmmakers who would have to betray their faith to take part in ceremonies they regard as sacrilegious will be denied their First Amendment right to practice their religion. How lucky for Muslims that no one will apply this to them, since they are favored too.
This is tyranny on steroids. The radicalized Democrat agenda consists of little else.

Currently I am straight ticket rep voter. For where we need to go, trump is the current best answer. Any D option is just so far out of reality it's scary
Once through this election and on to 2020 I will take a look at the options and pick what's best at that time.
Like I told some dem door to door folks. Nope not a firm republican, but when I asked why I should vote dem, the only answer was that Trump has to be stopped. Well he worries me at times, but 2 years in he's done great so why would I want to stop him?

Question for any fence sitters: can you name a Democrat who has spoke up against any of the incivilities and acts of aggression from them and their supporters? Their silence is approval of Antifa and attacks on anyone who does not hold dear to their proREgressive communistic goals of government control of our lives and free speech.
The procialists are clearly not going to condemn Antifa, or government controlling every facet of our lives. That is their goal. How it gets there is unimportant.

Well I came back after a few days and this thing took a turn. Some good some bad and apparently I need to figure out who I am according to some...... I know who I am and I’m not into the tribalism that some are. For those of you that offered good points I thank you. Back to the point ,I did some research before I hit the polls in the AM. Looks like a few libertarians and republicans will be getting my vote.
