now imagine Michelle Obama doing this and how conservative America would collectively blow its lid.
How goofy can PZ get?
Well no. Sadly, he cannot.
What’s stunning is Melania couldn’t get it done privately, behind closed doors.
So She went to DEFCON 1 and forced her husband’s hand publicly. His choice is capitulation and look weak or embarrass her publicly by doing something different.
LOL!
"DEFCON 1?"
LOLOLOL
You have NO CLUE as to what DEFCON 1 means, do you?
I do, as when I was in SAC, we all knew what the various DEFCON levels meant.
One day, my EC-135 crew sat in our aircraft at the end of the runway for a few hours one morning, engines running, ready for takeoff on a situation that was WAY beyond DEFCON 1.
What a moron you are!
Which is a great explanation for why the USMC didn't want you anywhere near a battlefield and thus assigned you to a stateside desk job.
THANKS PUTZ for the information
You're so full of $h!t it cannot even be described.
You showed us your DD 214 a few months ago.
Assuming it was real, at best it showed us the USMC didn't trust you going anywhere near a battlefield, so they assigned you to a desk job.
Game, Set, Match!
"I did not know Michelle was a porn star and a stripper."
Only because she wasn't.
C'mon, who would pay $10.00 for a beer to watch a woman with a butt the size of a cape buffalo's azz strip????????
I just wish she's make a call and have PutZ's worthless azz fired too....... should be so lucky it wasn't Shrillery.....
In fact you’re welcome to join Jeffrey! Oh wait. You couldn’t make it past week one in boot camp. Parris Island would make you whimper. NVA. A desk job? Since I speak Arabic, I was deployed to Kuwait with the 24th MEU. I earned the Liberation of Kuwait medal along w thousands of other jarheads. Desk job? I don’t think so. I would’ve preferred it, however.
I kind of look forward to these threads.
YFP makes a post and the hornet nest comes alive. After a few hours he comes back pokes it again, and again, and again. Everyone, including me at times, takes the bait. LOL
I find it rather entertaining to see how everyone responds. I'm sure he does too. LOL
Yeah, it was a desk job!
At least that's what the DD 214 you posted showed.
As for the 'medal,' you mentioned, anyone who's ever served in any of our armed services knows that medals like you noted are nothing more than participation trophies.
You know, like the National Defense Service Medal everyone got. It's such a joke that it was commonly known as the, "I was alive in '65' medal."
Your fav poster's Link
Southwest Asia (SWA) Medal (depending on how long you were there you could have received serval of them).
Kuwait Liberation Medal - Saudi
Kuwait Liberation Medal - Kuwait (BTW I never stepped foot in Kuwait. I was in Bahrain and Saudi)
I went from having one ribbon and one medal (good conduct) to being a war hero in under a year.... LOL
I actually have five SWA medals. Three from Desert Storm and two from Operation Southern Watch. I also have two National Defense medals.
Come to think about it I also have participation medals for:
Somalia - med Forces Expeditionary Medal
Having a pulse - Global War On Terror Service Medal
Iraqi and Enduring Freedom- Global War On Terror Expeditionary Medal
Iraqi Freedom - Iraqi Freedom Campaign Medal
Kyle is correct. These are all basically participation trophies. The real medals/ribbons that mean you did something in combat are anything Bronze Star or higher (unless the BS was given for non combat/heroic actions), Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon (USMC/Navy) or Combat action badges (Army). I don't have any of the above.
BZZZZT!
The Liberation of Kuwait Liberation Medal was given to any service member who was in Kuwait.
It's an Attendance Award/Participation Trophy and nothing more.
In Vietnam, they gave similar awards out ASAP after you arrived in Vietnam. No combat required.
That you would lead us to believe otherwise is shameful, 'though not surprising..
Likewise, the picture of you sitting in the back of a truck holding an M-16 tells us nothing.
Try again.
“The Liberation of Kuwait Liberation Medal was given to any service member who was in Kuwait.”
So now I had a desk job in Kuwait. When there was a combat mission?
Unreal.
And PS: Any medal you get in any service is earned. To say otherwise is literally crapping in service members. Don’t do that. It’s bad form and down right unpatriotic.
An internet search found three of the remaining four, but I drew a blank on the one on the right side of the bottom row.
So here they are and everyone of them is essentially an attendance award/participation trophy.
In order, from left to right, starting with the bottom row.
1. I was alive in '65. (National Defense Service Medal)
2. Air Force Longevity Medal. ( I was only on active duty for four years, ten months and eleven days, so WTF?}
3. I have no idea what this one is for. But I'd bet it's just more of the same.
4. Presidential Unit Citation. We got this for an airborne command control exercise we flew, but all we did that I recall was do our duty and stay airborne for 13 hours. BFD.
My crew and I flew that mission, but everyone in the Squadron got the ribbon, even if they were away on leave.
5. Air Force Outstanding Unit Award. Again, BFD.
6. Combat Readiness Medal. More BFD because Combat readiness was our sole mission!
My wings were definitely earned, but the ribbons - I simply showed up on time and never peed on the CO's shoes. (BTW, the wings are silver, not gold-ish, and the uniform is blue, obviously, not gray.)
Forgot the photo.
Which it was.
"Liberation of Kuwait Medal :Instituted: 1995 Qualifying Dates: Criteria: Participation in or support of Operations Desert Shield and /or Desert Storm (1990-93). "
"Priceless. One minute I had a desk job and then NVA says this gem.
“The Liberation of Kuwait Liberation Medal was given to any service member who was in Kuwait.”
So now I had a desk job in Kuwait. When there was a combat mission? "
The more you say, the more you prove my point.
Then there's the fact your very post makes no sense, what-so-ever.
Throughout our history, for every combat soldier, more than one other non-combat support person is needed.
Then you basically agreed that you had a desk job, because if you were sent there because you speak Arabic, as you said you were, it is HIGHLY likely you were there as an interpreter, not as a combat soldier
I'd suggest you learn about "The First Rule of Holes." It might serve you well.
I'd ask to see your CIB, but I doubt you even know what that is, let alone have one.
The Rock
If he was a Marine its time to take a deep breath and swallow hard."
Not to mention crying like a baby.
Post a copy of your OCS certificate.
Post a copy of your OCS certificate.
I don't think he ever claimed he was an officer.
I don't recall that at all.
No worries!
Paul Ziedan lies so often and about so many things, it's not possible to keep track of them all.
No apologies needed; one of the iterations of the CF's resident troll claimed to be an officer who trained officers in hand-to-hand combat. If I recall correctly this training also occured on a ship, the type of which was not deployed (or something along those lines) in the theater mentioned. tonyo6302 flushed that little whopper out so if he's reading this thread he might have a clearer picture to paint.
In any event, it was (surprise) another lie told by a serial liar. As a fellow marine Frank I'm sure you've heard the term "shit bird"......seems to fit the liar to a tee.....
I have communicated with Paul privately, and he seems genuine at times. Yes, call me a big dummy!
Changing his registration was due, he claims, to being harassed at work and home. Not cool if that happened, IMO.
I guess he contacted Pat who told him to use his real name, which he did and has not been banned since. But his pictures disappear, which to me seems strange.
Just difficult to understand why a guy would keep coming back for abuse. And honestly Paul, I find your positions difficult to believe they come from a Marine. An explanation of what you are doing here would help. What purpose does lying serve?
Thanks guys. Sorry, as a teacher I want to believe that good exists in everyone. Paul, you make me realize that is just not reality.
The registration claim is another outright lie; we were probably somewhere between 18-20 fake registrations before the first claim of any type of harassment was produced; if you have the time to do a search you can dig up a thread or two where timelines have been provided that blew up that claim.
So a legitimate registration was never in place for pretty much the first 2 1/2 years of the troll's run on the CF; it was a fake registration, post leftist blog nonsense over and over, get the boot and then create another false registration, repeat, repeat, repeat....
As to claims of harassment, given the history of lying I'd tend to take those with a grain of salt; trust is earned; in this case trust is light years away and deservedly so.
On a personal note, don't quit believing in the better angels among us; that's always been my approach and I'd rather get burned occasionally than go the route of becoming automatically cynical of people.
Just because you may have been burned here doesn't invalidate your core values; you'll find a lot more good out there with your attitude-kudos and much respect.
Thank you!

Why does this all smell like a book deal and FNM tour???
Wait for it..... you likely won't even have to hold your breath.....
"Just difficult to understand why a guy would keep coming back for abuse. And honestly Paul, I find your positions difficult to believe they come from a Marine. An explanation of what you are doing here would help. What purpose does lying serve? "
The reason he keeps coming back is to get poke the hornets nest. Honestly its pretty entertaining to see what crazy comment he'll come up with and how fired up everyone gets. That is where the "kick" comes from. I know, I used to troll. One website I had so many alias' that I forgot some... LOL
As for Paul being a Marine..... Well I was skeptical at first, BUT I'll give him the same benefit of the doubt that we all give each other. I mean, seriously how do any of us know if we are who we really claim to be? He has posted pictures which is about as much as any of us can do. Most of the stuff he talks about is about 80% correct, but that is to be expected from someone who did an enlistment and has been out for 20+ years. I know a few Marines that have his same views, but they are definitely the minority in our beloved Corps.
IRT medals and awards. I do agree with him on the fact that most are earned (using the term participation trophy on my part was total sarcasm). Regardless if you saw direct combat action or spent the whole tour behind a desk (BTW you can be a desk jockey in a combat zone) you where still deployed and supporting the bigger picture.
