TV Networks Consider Not Airing Trump’s Border Security Address
Several major television networks are apparently unsure whether or not to air President Trump’s live address to the nation on border security Tuesday due to concern over what he will say.
This all goes to show that the reason that the OPRESS fears letting American citizens the dangers of unfettered illegal immigration. Not only are these invaders breaking the law and a drain on the American taxpayer, they have been demonstrated to be the source of many diseases that had been eradicated from our country.
For the media to censor the President on this important topic (93% of Americans are concerned about border security...and 87% of the Democrats themselves hold this view), shows that the media support of Pelosi, Schumer, et. al. is based upon the fear that the American people would listen to Trump laying out the reasons for maintaining our borders.
Are they not required to?

Democrats have ignored the issue for years in the hopes to secure the votes. Republicans have ignored it to keep the cheap labor available.
But, as stated above, we would be hard pressed to fill the void that immigrants fill in the work force if we had to depnd on US workers.

As with any industry, once labor costs get to high, you invent a machine to do the work of many. It’s simple cost output. Pretty much every industry has had a machine replace people. Just look at what the $15 per hour fast food worker “talk” has done. From what I’m told, cashiers are being replaced with self serve kiosks where you order, slide down and then pick up. Just look around and you can see it everywhere...lawn mowing robots, self-checkout wherever you shop, and I won’t even get started in the automotive industry.
Mike, Machinery is now able to pick produce. All the McDs in my area have kiosks for ordering. You order and pay at the kiosk, they bring your food to your table.
Yes, McDs have the kiosks, but most people, in my area at least, still go to the counter and order. The kiosks take WAY longer to use. Most of the time I walk up, order, and have my food before the kiosk orderer is even done pushing buttons. There's still the same amount of people in the kitchen. All the kiosks have done is eliminate 1 or 2 cash registers. When there's a big crowd it's even SLOWER now than it used to be, because the line at the single register is longer. If I go in there and there's line at the single register I walk out. I pay with cash which means that if I did use the kiosk, I'd now have to wait in TWO lines, not to mention having to go to the washroom after using the kiosk before I handle my food because of the person that used the kiosk before me picking his nose or maybe just took a dump and didn't wash his hands and now I have to touch the EXACT same place on the kiosk with mine!
Good point WW. An article I just read said a high percentage of the kiosks tested positive for human waste. Robin has me carry handi-wipes in the individual packages just for that reason.
I was surprised when I was on the road recently that some McDs don't have them.

Most of what I do get there is the senior coffee, or a coke. $1 ALL sizes, and .75 for the coffee, and it's not half bad. I'm old AND cheap.........
When traveling, the restrooms are usually clean. Then I purchase a Coke or something out of fairness.
Higher wages = status quo, or higher, unemployment...
As for Americans doing the jobs of immigrant workers, sure, we'll do them as long as the American lifestyle can be kept. The other thing to that is that it will allow entry of young adults with zero sellable skills into the workforce to gain experience - working while going to college to keep student loans and debt down.
All it would take is one network to say they are airing it and they all will.
Let immigrants work if they want! I’m all for opportunity. Clean criminal record, they can enter the country and work, pay taxes, live a peaceful life. No voting, no handouts, you get convicted of crime, you’re out. Immigrations knows where you live and work and if you want to be hard to find, you’re out. These are the basic laws that govern practically every country around the world. If I want to work in Canada, Mexico, anywhere this is going to be the basic plan if it’s possible at all.
I saw, while watching the news on the local NBC affiliate here (MA) that they will be airing it. I dont care if a President wants to talk about riding chickens into a potato sack while blowing on a Tuba (IE, is literally clinically insane), I'd like to see what he or she has to say. Hopefully most major news outlets will air it. A President is more important than this weeks NCIS or whatever.

Dems don't need to hear what Trump says to read their socialist/progressive talking points in rebuttal. And then cry for more business as usual without fixing this, or any other problem.
The American people are sick and tired of illegal immigration and that includes a lot of Democrats.
I wonder how most rational people can accept the Democrat's obvious response that illegals aren't illegals and that non-citizens should be exempt from laws?
Or that this country should have open borders and the taxpayers support these criminals by providing them services and benefits when we cannot help our veteran population that have problems with homelessness, PTSD, and other issues?
Or that illegals should be put ahead of immigrants who actually follow our laws?
It seems that their oft stated memes only appeal to the occasional cortex segment of the proREgressive movement...and, of course, our little Putzie.
