Guys,
This was in one of ammo belts where all those AR cartdidges were that I mentioned on the Tarnished Cartridges thread.
What is it?
The only thing I can think of is that it's used to make loading the magazines easier, but I see no way this thing could help with that.

Yup, a little attachment that allowed preloaded stripper-clips to charge AR-mags. Never thought it was much use myself.
Some rifles had a shape milled into the bolt that allowed stripper-clips to feed directly into the mag well. The old Lee Enfield comes to mind.

It slides on to the top of the magazine, and then you push down on cartridges and they slide into the magazine. There are some tabs on the bottom of the stripper clip to keep the cartridges on the clip.

Thin part allows stripper clip with rounds to slide in. Thick part slides down on top of magazine.
Pushy pushy loads mag.
SKS will take stripper clips directly with slot on bolt to load 10 rounds into internal mag.

Probably a inch wide and 2 long. One per bandolier. You could use it to bump fire by taping to finger.....;)
