Some one please tell BBC how "self-defense" is spelled.
Officials said the 80 lb cat died from suffocation, but no details.
Now THAT is one badass jogger!

Yep. That cat picked the wrong granola chomper to mess with. I love it. Hate it got the guy that had to get tore up. But, love the human spirit he exhibited in fighting for his life.

I can just imagine trying to hold down a cougar while applying a rear-naked choke. There's quite a few MMA fighters that train up in the high altitudes of the Rockies..gotta wonder if it was one of them that got attacked.

GG - The Brits spell defense with a "c"....defence. It's a British English thing. The BBC spelled it correctly for their Brit readers.

I've grabbed wild barn cats before, and know the fury they have. I can't imagine wrestling with one that's 80 lbs.....and choking it to death to boot!!

I was reading about this and went to comments online. Amazing how many morons were sad that he killed it. I posted to one lady that I hoped she would be faced with the same dilemma some day to see how she would react. MeToo people were outraged when they heard a man choked a cougar
