Nva, I thought the same thing too. She is, however the oldest KNOWN to lay an egg.

As HA/KS posted,,, the key word here is "KNOWN"...
They started banding these birds shortly after WWII when they started returning to the Midway Islands to nest, seen a recent TV program on one of the nature channels about this...

What amazes me is once they get airborne the fly for months without landing. They sleep in flight.
