Any politician can be primaried.
These democrats certainly do not represent those that my parents knew. Life long democrats from way back in the 1930's. If they were alive today, both would be repulsed at what their party became.
Hell, even Dems from the eighties and the nineties would also be repulsed!!
Jim, Obama got elected 2x and the only rational I could come to is that the DNC could elect a box of rocks as long as it has a 'D' after their name.
Remember an old childhood neighbor, he (Don Harris) was the regional AFL/CIO regional union rep/organizer and a strong Dem, this was back in the 50s-early 60s, he would come over and drink a beer with my Father and tried to have my Father come into the DNC fold, my Father was a Teamster and a RNC supporter, but the difference was always about taxes and where it was properly spent, the sparks flew during the JFK/Nixon election. Looking back then Don would have been a conservative republican and wouldn't recognize where his party went to. He was a tough, good all round family gent that came up in one tough life as most came through during that generation, but he was known to break some jaws also against union breakers.
If this intellectual midget gets primaried, it means she could lose her seat in the primary election and therefore not even get into the general election.
That's a BIG deal.
