Granted that is a ultra long shot....however it looks like they spent alot of rounds to hit the target just once. Were the odds in their favor that sooner or later they would have hit the target? If they ran out of light would they have kept shooting the next day until they hit it?

I took the video to say they did it I less then 10 shots. Which is phenomenal.

A guy has to figure in the earths rotation into the dope for that shot. I've witnessed a guy shooting a 2' square at 1500 yards, and it seemed like it took for ever to hear the gong report. ThAT, to me, was some long range shooting.

I did a 1 mile shot with a Barrett MRAD in 338 Lapua on the Top Shot season 5 episode. Very cool experience, and we had to do it fast (*hit the 36" exploding target in around 52 seconds from a mile, with a borrowed gun and no ballistic data)
Those guys looked like they took all day. In one video it was getting dark by the time they made hits. I saw that comments were disabled on the video, meaning they were getting mocked relentlessly. Lol
