The progressive senator doesn’t think veganism is just appropriate for his private life; he’d like everyone to embrace the diet because he believes the world can’t keep providing enough beef and pork to satisfy meat cravings.
“The tragic reality is this planet simply can’t sustain billions of people consuming industrially produced animal agriculture because of environmental impact. It’s just not possible, as China, as Africa move toward consuming meat the same way America does because we just don’t have enough land.”
In addition to convincing the masses to give up meat, Booker has other legislative goals that would interfere with America’s eating habits.

With all of this talk about farting cows, I started thinking, I grew up around and worked at a few farms. I don't recall cows farting much at all, they hack their cud up a lot to re-chew their food to aid in the digestive process. Their digestive process is completely different than ours, with, if I remember correctly, 4 compartments in their stomach to break the food down. I just don't recall cows farting much, maybe some on here could let me know about their experience with farting cows......it has been over 30 years since I've spent much time around cows. I have a feeling that cow farts are about the same as cow tipping!
I was born and raised on a western Ks cattle farm. It’s still operated as a cattle farm. Yes cattle fart. I do not recall that their farting was frequent or excessive at all. It’s just some libs that probably have never been off pavement except in a city park, trying to get us to behave in a manner they consider appropriate. Screw them and pass me a NY strip, medium, please.
Cows fart, but not anything like these loony libs are thinking. Work on a dairy farm where you have them in close quarters and you will find out. It's probably better to have 100 additional cows than 1 additional socialist.
That's what I was thinking, I knew that they did fart, I just didn't remember if they did a lot or not, I didn't remember it being a lot...like those on the left seem to think.
All green things produce CO when they respirate at night. EVERY night. Also, All crops produce methane and other gas when they compose. When you look at the total acres of land on this planet that’s been converted to strictly plant agriculture, I’d bet my education that Plant agriculture is the largest contributor to green house gases on this planet. With no equal. Or, at least as large as any other segment.
Agriculture for plant farming is the largest contributor to deforestation world wide. By a huge margin. But, no greenie wants to talk about that. They’d instead rather get lobbied to create hysteria.
Follow the contributions. You’ll find who’s behind this nonsense. And it’s likely going to be someone who wants laws that make importing more beef, easier. Can’t do that without taxing the American cattle man to the point they have no incentive to continue.
All most politicians are good for is crap like this. Usually too dumb and selfish to see the error or consequences if it. Or, outright non caring. I loath most of them.
I will never in a million years understand how the lefties can be so unbelievably loony. I personally wonder if the existence of Hollyweird and its 100 year influence of make believe is to blame?
Could be Kyle. No one truly knows. That is the popular belief and one that might be correct. But, there is no way to account for the amount of CO2 plants life puts into the atmosphere. And, it has no agenda for anyone to try and find out. It is believed to be close to a Net equal of O2 produced. However, there are lots of conflicting studies there because there are lots of variables involved. My statement before was simply a hunch I have and, one that will never be proved correct or wrong. Its just a reality that gets lost in the race to be the best politician. And since most politicians are too ignorant to know better, they latch on to punch lines and run with it. With the average real experience equal to a 14 year old kid.
What is indisputable, is the amount of deforestation for sustenance living. It increases every year and is the largest cause of deforestation. What gets lost in all this is that Young growth is far more productive in both photosynthesis and respiration, then old growth. Once again, it has no agenda to be pointed out to the masses. Because people gotta' eat. And, there is a huge amount of funding going on to replace natural resource utilization. It is just agenda driven crap.
What makes all this ironic is the photo TD posted. I truly have zero problems with the state of the planet or where we are going with it. I just get eat up with agenda's. Cory Booker is flying all over the country, talking his babble, while no doubt producing more pollution then all cattle farms with his press conferences, his lifestyle, and all the resources spent to follow him. Like all other green advocates, that is ok. But, eating meat farmed for markets isn't?. Are we supposed to believe that cattle are more of a threat then urban sprawl? Its simply ludicrous.
