I wouldn't put much weight in a news report on somebody who talked to somebody who was in the meeting. Until any indictments this is just background noise IMO. Maybe the Trump administration is trying to flush out a rat? Create bad intel and see where it comes out on the other end and there is your rat. Anyone ever seen "The Departed?"

well mueller cant indict anyone. he is doing the investigation. any evidence goes to grand jury and they decide if an indictment is warranted.
