Someone once told AOC that alligators could grow up to 15 feet. She said, "I thought they only had 4".

Awwww.... I see now..... "democratic" socialism...... the masses get to VOTE on how much they want to steal...... and who they want to steal it from.....

"all those millions of workers created those billions of dollars....." yes. and all those workers were not slaves, they were PAID billions of dollars for their work..... and SPENT billions of those dollars with other "workers".... best part is they made their own choices about it all too.

It's not capitalism that is their problem.... It seems what she and other socialists REALLY have an issue with is the word "work"..... seems so unfair a person is, like, expected to work for a living....

what a maroon......

Well boys . . . she runs her mouth off when she shouldn't. But her questions and followups at the campaign finance and Cohen hearings were the sharpest and bloviation free. She'd make a great trial attorney. Dare I say it? A whole lot brighter than Gowdy Doody (Trey Gowdy, for the slower among you (a majority here)).

Yeah she was brilliant. She deserves the genius of the month award for that performance.

I love seeing “grown men” so scared of a smart, driven woman.

Part comical, part pathetic.

Atheist/YFP, I about spit my coffee out on your post.

Cannot help yourself with the drivel, hilarious for your seriousness.

Wow. you must have really low expectations.

"I love seeing “grown men” so scared of a smart, driven woman."

I worked for a smart driven woman. Best boss I ever had. What scares me is her socialist policies whose single only outcome will be like Venezuela's. That and dumb ****s like you that would vote for her.

She is one of the most intelligent and brightest among the Democrats. Won't argue with that.

Yea, I really liked it when she asked the CEO of Wells Fargo why they were caging children.

ROTFLMAO !

She and her gang are going to get Trump reelected so I really love her right now. I can't wait for the young, dumb and socialist crowd fully take over the Democrat party and kick out the dinosaurs like Pelosi. Maybe then the GOP will have some balls and back trump fully.

My guess is she's well experienced at the game she is playing. Like she is reading her own manifesto. I was more impressed with her admitting that her own constituents are illegals.

I cannot find it now, but I had a friend who sent me a snippet about her that alleged in college she supported markets but started to embrace socialism when she was only capable of getting a bartender job with her degree. Don't know if it is true or not.

The WF questions were bizarre, I initially was laughing but then was really embarrassed for her. It has to be an act.

Actually, the first thing I did was watch the Campaign Finance hearings, albeit with open eyes, not through a rose-colored prism.

Maybe it's just me but I don't view someone who's obviously reading off of a prepared script (perhaps you didn't take note of all the downward glances at notes in between all those insightful "what if" questions?) but I take the entire body of intellectual output into account before I confer any accolades to anyone in any arena.

As to the questions the one part of your analysis I am in complete agreement with is that yes, she'd make a great trial lawyer; if your idea of a great trial lawyer is an opportunistic ambulance chaser who purposely uses yes/no questions that preclude needed context, not to mention a healthy injection of reality into the discussion.

If you take such an extreme myopic focus on many topics it's not terribly hard for a fairly bright 9-year old to convince all within earshot that the sky is indeed falling.

As I said, when taken in context with her body of work (references to which you clearly don't cotton too; for obvious reasons!) I see little reason to be impressed with the equivalent of a well-plumed parrot spewing melodious prose.

I'd say surely you jest but as I've been around here for quite some time now unfortunately you've seen fit to grab this VHS out of the closet periodically and the script is nearly as stale as the popcorn......

I'm fair man though Fra, so I'll tell you what; you post a video of AOC getting caught in an unscripted moment and peppered with questions on her "questions" and anything else to do with CFR, green energy or any other subject of note and responding with actual, cogent and well-reasoned points and I'll wave that AOC flag right alongside you.

Of course we both know there's ample video evidence of the depth of this women's mental capacity; you just chose to cherry-pick a scripted moment that made a gerbil seem like a genius......

And to add to Mike...

It appears as though she may be more familiar with “being the bad guy” in a campaign finance scenario because her chief of staff and a couple of she’ll companies helped illegally move, amass and misappropriate almost a million dollars of pac funds.

I don't agree with many of her ideas, I just thought she used artfully phrased questions to make the points she wished to make.

What I really like about her though, is that as a freshman representative she is drawing all the conservative ire, while much bigger fish swim freely.

I just thought she used someone else's artfully phrased questions to make the points she wished to make. FIFY.

'Cuz all other evidence points to the fact she ain't that smart to come up with them on her own.

From: Mike in CT

Tom nailed it; she used someone else's "artfully phrased questions"; the body of evidence showing her to be incapable of deep thought on any weighty topic is overwhelming to all but the blind (hint).

What you really wish (not like, fixed it for you) is that she had the acumen and the insights to draw conservative ire. It must be painful to have to lower your expectations enough to even cling to that delusional fantasy.

No, what you can't stomach and try to mask is what she arouses in any thinking person (conservative, moderate, liberal and all shades in between) is a mixture of pity, bemusement and gratitude, the latter being based largely on the conservative side of the political spectrum as her every unscripted utterance makes the likelihood of Nancy Pelosi having to turn over the speaker's gavel after a single term a vrrtual certainty.

By all means though, keep tilting at windmills and grasping at straws; you and those who share in your delusions about this woman's "skills" are akin to the person on a sinking ship who passes the lifeboats and jumps overboard clutching a single oar......

"Good heavens! No one -- no one -- who supports the Orange Imbecile has any right to expect or demand intelligent politicians. "

And yet the economy is doing superb under the imbecile while Obama had to keep printing money so we wouldn't fall into a depression.

AOC is dangerous for one reason, she supports socialism and that ideology has killed over a hundred million people in the 20th century.

She reads off a script what her employers/bosses tell her to read. She was chosen through an audition (literally.... her brother signed her up for it) put on by a leftist socialist group looking for someone who they felt was "charismatic" etc to run for office and would do their bidding. She was literally hired for the job to run for their designated office. She doesn't write this stuff. If you pay any attention her words off script and her scripted act are totally different. On her own she has a hard time making an intelligent sentence. She's a very good actress playing the role she was hired for very well.

Gotta love it when some call Trump an "imbecile".

Let me see..... Trump can step up on a stage and wing it UNSCRIPTED for an hour..... a billionare businessman..... who won his primary, was elected to the highest office on the PLANET...... in the biggest election upset in history.... and done a GREAT job in turning the country around from the cliffs we were headed towards.

And people with what(?) on their resume call him "imbecile", "idiot".... etc. etc.....

huh....

Freeglee look back on the Kennedy Years. That’s what the Democratic Party used to be. Sad to see what it has become.
