Is Ad Blocker Messing With Your PC?

A couple of days ago, I got Ad Blocker and then started having problems with my PC.
On blogs where Twitter comments had been added, for example, those Twitter comments were absent, even though the rest of the blogs were fine.
Then my F Drive, which I use to see the videos from my trail cameras, would activate some of the time\ but not at others.
When one of the ladies @ Chicks on the Right suggested I turn the Ad Blocker back on. Bingo! Everything went back to normal.
Have any of you guys experienced this?

Some of you might remember that about 6 months ago I was having an issue with this site and adblocker. I mean it was clocking about 700+ ads in 5 minutes. I had to go back in and run some malwarebytes and some cleanup programs. It was just on my wifes computer. Not sure what it was than got rid of it, but it was weird for awhile.
