How about just some favourite all time hunting pictures? Because the scenery was awesome, or it's a great pic of a great animal, just any great pictures of the reason we love it so much. Great moment with friends, families, let's see some of those awesome images.
Here's a pic of a buck I shot in Sask last year, and this view was a reason I was so excited to walk up to him! The shot happened so fast I didn't know what he looked like yet.
I loved the way the snow had hung on all the branches this day. It was a picturesque environment to hunt in.

Ironically some of my favourite pictures are even from rifle hunts. Which is crazy because rifle hunting is so EVIL! I grew up rifle hunting and only bowhunted later when I started hunting by myself. Good times can sure be had.
Hunt, that looks says, "Oh man, now the work starts!!"
My favorite...for the same reason as Hunt's picture, only the hunter and the bull are significantly smaller :)
Winding down after a pretty good hunt. Two buddies since age 8, two big bulls in the wall tent, two cocktails to celebrate.
I'm not a particularly vulgar guy, but I think if I was Hunt in that photo I might have the same expression except for me it would be saying: HO LEE SHI$ What did I just do?! What a bull.
Man you gotta love that SMILE Brotsky!!! As a father I know I'd trade a limb for those moments eh?
I have a few favorites, most are with my dad who has been my hunting partner for a long time.
Calling coyotes last year in Colorado. Had this guy come by under 50 yards.

My dad and I have been hunting buddies since I was 4. This was Wisconsin opening day 2007.
Not sure yet if these two will be hunters but I have high hopes.
This one. On 31-Oct my son was hunting by himself. This was the first year he was able to do so. At 4:40pm he texted he missed a doe. Twenty minutes later he texts me the above pic. Another doe came in. This time he didnt miss. Did it all on his own this year. Couldn't be prouder!!

My son Cody, doing some fly fishing for brookies before the evening elk hunt!
Pretty much my favorite is any with my son in it while hunting. His first spring season and called in this nice tom for him on state land, no blind. Special moment talking him through the shot, making a great shot and then lifting his bird. I will never forget that moment and the feelings I had.

Really enjoying this thread. So many great pics posted. These memories mean so much more than what any critter [ scored].
My son a long time ago. One of my favorites.
My Dad and me on our annual Canada fishing trip. He’s 82 and looking forward to this year’s trip as much as the very first one.
The culmination of a dream I’ve had since I was 7-8 years old reading Russel Annabel stories in Sports Afield. Even more satisfying in that a big moose with a bow was my dream when I started bowhunting in 1982.
Could have maybe picked a better spot to shoot him!
My buddy Jake last November while he was on Chemotherapy and radiation. That was a great day for everyone involved! He killed 2 bucks within an hour of each other, including his best buck ever. We had a great time with him getting his deer out. Sadly, we lost him this past August:-(
My sons' 2016 rifle buck as we found him
Those are some great pics guys ! I had some really good pics of my youngest son and his turkeys and deer, as well as some pics of my last pointer at work. Lost them all when my iPad crashed a few years ago. I really hate that !
My best whitetail ever taken this past January.
One of the GORHs (Great Ohio Rabbit Hunt)
Too many Favorites, but this is my favorite from this past fall... 10 year old Ram on a walk in from the road hunt just a few days before the season closed, used a rifle that was handed down to my wife from her grandfather. So thankful!
Pics of a whopper my brother thumped. Was fun to recover with him and the alfalfa was so green it made for excellent backdrop.

So many memories loaded up on this thread. So cool to see.
Not my brightest moment but I was only a teenager when I did it... Marlboro man on top of the pizza place I worked in on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights NJ
(Note arrow in the letter B)
My buddy Zach has been taking some awesome high quality pics of my last few buck kills and this one I especially love because this is how and exactly where I found him. The woods are perfect fall like colors, I'm in all my gear still, harness, face paint and all. He came over as soon as I texted him BBD! Just a stud of a buck too if you ask me! Great pics guys!

Emma leading me to where the doves live...
Two favorites for me this year! I got to be with my dad as he killed his first animal at age 62, and got to take my daughter out after doves for her first hunt ever...
I self filmed this one along the Bitterroot river with my centaur long bow. The deer were moving like ghosts with all the snow clinging to the tree branches. I hit this little buck right in the pocket and he made about 4 hops and tipped over. The land owner had never seen an archery kill and insisted on helping pull him out on a kiddy sled, ha.
Last year, from my treestand just after putting an arrow into a buck... one of my favs.
My youngest son's first deer the second he picked up the horns. Have many big deer on the wall from my bow, my kids' pics are the favs.

My biggest buck to date, taken in 2011. He was 5 yards from the tree for the shot; i just happened to take this picture when i recovered him and it's always been one of my favorites.
Love the kid pics!! My son on a scouting trip to watch some fields in 2007. Then his first deer and his 16 buck. Daughter with her first
The above clearly showing that the highlights in life are not about the animals, but It’s about the people

Seeing everyone's pics just reminds me I need to kill more stuff :) Some awesome photos on here
My buddy's NM bull from 2010. Still the biggest bull we've managed to lay down in 7 hunts
My son before he could hunt on his own would come and sit with me. He would sit in between my legs when we would use one of the ladder stands since I didn't have any two mans at the time. This particular afternoon he must've been nice and cozy because he was snoring like a grown man when I took this picture.
Still to this day the only shed we've ever found. I stepped right over it and my son noticed it.

Even though I’m typically alone in the woods and enjoy it most this way, bringing my boys along for adventures is always rewarding, and I hope they will one day cherish these days as much as I do.

My mentor. Once he got the hang of elk hunting he killed 3 studs in a 4 years. Great photos guys. I could look at them all day . Hunt
Great thread......Another favorite photo of mine and it proudly hangs in his room. Still hunting for squirrels and we ran into this big male coyote. Another hunt we shared and will never forget.
It's been a few years ago. The date on the pic was wrong. And, I've killed a lot of deer with compound and trad bows before and after this one. But, none had more meaning than this one. Prior to starting chemo I had scouted out this fence crossing where the deer were focusing due to the wire being stretched and sagging.
Fresh off a week straight of Chemotherapy. I was struggling to stay alive and, wasn't real certain that was going to happen. I Felt miserable but, made myself go out and climb a tree because I was glad to be alive and, wanted to do what I loved again. However, this experience gave me the strength to keep at it, as I was thinking about telling them no more of that crap was going into my body. The Good Lord knows what we need and when we need it. I praise God for his mercy, my healing, and my blessings everyday.

This one had a funny story to go along with it. And, it's true. It's also a testament that you can't kill'em if you don't shoot at 'em.
dmanwarren- that's awesome getting it done with the atlatl! WV Mountaineer- glad you are doing well now and funny 2nd pic ! I watched my son shoot a small buck like that on accident when he was about 11 and it ran off like a unicorn, never recovered it , said he was aiming behind the shoulder... ;)
Nimrod, that one got the nickname "hitman" for a year or so.

October 5th just before dark so I was thinking I'm going to have to get it done ? n gun season. I love last day kills because you get to hunt all season. Way better than first day success.
Saw a mama lion and a couple kits going in to pull a snow covered elk camp. Barked like a hound and they treed!

My buddy in the top left of the picture as my bull lay dead in the water. Two 6 points fighting chest deep in water while three other bulls screamed with 30 cows in one heard. Was the most amazing hunt of my life, especially since we arrowed both bulls.
Great times, will never get old!

Man, it's heartening to see all the kids you guys involve into hunting. Boys and girls. And, I gotta agree with Brotsky on the thought that the future of hunting depends on getting the girls involved. It's great to see so many doing it. God Bless and Merry Christmas guys
