And if any of you stock up on Chili Mac, tell me what state you are hunting. I want to hunt elsewhere.

ChiliMac isn’t as bad now as it was years ago. It’s now on my regular meal list as of the past few years. 30 years ago......it was really bad.

Does MH taste the best compared to the rest? Never tried them?

Stay clear of the chili and mac...any others?

Chili Mac is good stuff. I’m not as keen on the chicken teriyaki.

jingalls, Mountain House is tasty, especially in the backcountry. I've had most of the major brands and I do tend to go with Mountain House, but Backpacker's Pantry and all the others are fine as well. For me it's most important that I find flavors/meals I like. My go-to is Chicken & Rice. It's very filling, I enjoy the taste, and it has a good number of calories.

I tried the Sweet and Sour Pork and also the Briskets and Gravy. Gave the SSP a 10 and the BG a 8. I would purchase them again. As far as the CM, NOT for ME.

How did you get free shipping? The code worked for me but they still wanted 21 dollars for standard shipping, which basically erased my 30% discount. Did I miss something?

Thanks for the heads up. Mountain House is really pretty dang good for the most part. Their Chicken and Dumplings are great! Breakfast Skillet is good but just tried their Breakfast Hash last week and was not thrilled about it.

Mountain House is required eating on a DIY Alaskan Moose hunt.
