In my part of Wisconsin some areas had 24" of rain in August. We're having historic, devastating flooding. Some people have lost everything. I'm thankful I'm out of the flood zones, but know many who are not as fortunate.

All that ended up coming my way rallison….took out my bridge going over my creek and turned my driveway into the Grand Canyon. Luckily the cabin is high and dry but this is going to cost a small fortune.

Franklin, that pic is Reedsburg. I'm on high ground 9 miles east so we're OK. Others I know from Rock Springs, North Freedom, and Baraboo weren't so fortunate. Be well, mate. By the way, my hunting spot is under water with a fresh crop of mosquitoes.

We had almost zero rain from the end of May until last week. Now there's rain in the forecast for all of next week. There's a new storm looking to hit the Caribbean in a couple days and I hope the coast doesn't get a Harvey repeat. Some of those folks are just now getting their lives back on track. I live on a hill, far from the coast, so I'm ok, but many people's lives and property were devastated by Harvey and I feel for them.
