Did Mtn House quit making single serving portions?
Seems like all that’s available is 2 serving packets.

I wasn't thinking the same thing. I ordered some for our long hunts down here and all I could find were the 2-3 servings.

They still make them. Search for Pro-Pak.

Not sure as I have always bought 2 serving packs. Guess I am just hungry at the end of the day.

I like Mtn House but not 2 servings worth.
The single works best for me for lunch and a better meal for supper
I used to find the singles around town but I guess I’ll have to order online

If you are hunting hard a single meal is not going to make it. i do the 2 servings better to have leftover . then not have a full belly for the next day.

Here is an idea I have used . I take the 2.5 meal pouch and divide it in half, using one for dinner and then the other the next night or two. Just wash out a recently used pouch and save it and then use it for the divided 2.5 meal pouch and then roll up the unused pouch and rap with string or a rubber ban. Saves on space with solo/spike camping. Not every night or every meal to I want to eat a full 2.5 meal pouch .
If you are looking for an economical meal, try a small can/pouch of chicken or salmon and mix in with instance potatoes. Total cost less than $4 and a good change from just freeze dried meals.

Breakfast and lunch are usually bars and trail mix. A big dinner like the 2 serving is perfect for the "1 prepared meal" per day plan. Never ate a hot lunch on a hunt....strictly finger food.

They don't hold that many calories. Singles are 250-400. They do have plenty of sodium :^)

Yeah, the 2 serving Pro Packs are one serving for me....6'4" 235#.....
Hard for me to maintain my girlish figure on less than that.
