When I was overseas from 69 to 70 on a SEA tour, I transported marines,,,, yesterday I was at a funeral.... my wifes brother in law died, and the Marines were there to honor him.....
I can not tell you what that meant to the family, and they were so sharp, I started to cry........
I survived 2 air crashes and others did not,,,, I carried a lot of guilt for a lot of years... have worked thru it......
although I was air force., I loved the marines.,... plus they did not beat me up when things went nuts in Kadena Okinawa,,, ha ha

thank you Nick....I carry a lot of guilt,,, I have no idea why but I do..... I was with an amazing crew... 327th bomb wing out of Guam SAC command
