Ok, everyone, we're on for the 20th. Rather than clutter the Bowsite, please RSVP to my email at

Details: We are starting around 6 at the Hooters off Crossroads and I-25 at Centerra, near Loveland. We've reserved the enclosed outdoor patio, and the secret word to get in is "Bowsite" (I know... cnelk came up with that!)
Folks will start arriving around 6:00 but get there when you can. If you want to participate in the White Elephant gift exchange, bring a wrapped item thats bowhunting related but not of great monetary value (unless it's for ME, LOL!)
I like cnelk's idea about contributing cash to a pot to pay the bill so we can order food, drinks, etc. without burdening the gals with keeping track of 25 separate checks. However, I know some don't drink and others are on some weird diets, while others may drink and eat like Vikings, so we will do an honor system. Please bring enough cash to cover your imbibing and your share of the food and drink, plus a 20% tip. If we come up short, the hat will be passed again.

And I like your Viking comment, I'd normally say give me the fat kid menu and I'd likely suck down enough beer y'all would question if I have a drinking problem but the Viking plan sounds much better! Looking forward to it.
I’m in too, bottoms up boys! Lol Maybe plan ahead and book a room at the Holiday Inn express just across the highway. Police patrol I-25 heavily around the Holidays. Better safe than sorry.
Gonna do just that, Lung! Might even walk over and back. Either that and drive back up to the boat or down to the other side of Denver and neither of those sound good...

Damn, first I was disappointed I couldnt make it then I hear that guys are getting hotel rooms?? I'm sure a two person tent wouldnt take more than a parking space.
So far 16, counting myself, and another 5 "maybes". I think we'll end up with 20+ if the weather is decent.

I really hope we can get this many people to attend the upcomming DOW meetings on 5 year planning, and the wolf/trapping debates. Its great to see bowhunters together, even greater to attend events that "matter"

I think we need to raffle off a signed Hooters calendar for a grand prize. Mandatory one dollar entrance fee to the party zone should cover the cost.

For the gift grab, we'll put all the WRAPPED gifts in a box and everybody draws a number for the order of picking. You can pick a wrapped gift or steal the one from the person before you. If yours gets stolen you pick another one. Only two steals of any gift permitted. Come and have some Bowsiter fun!
