What a great bunch of guys. I asked for cash donations on the honor system and put a paper bag on the table. Madeline ended up with a $200 tip after all the bills were covered. How awesome is that!
Epic evening. Thanks to all the Bowsiters who made this event a night to remember! (Even Leatherneck Grandpa-Santa with the rotten walleye gift for me.. Yum)
Cazador wins the prize for most creative gift- a set of GPS coordinates to a great secret OTC elk spot, and a one year membership to the CBA. Great job, Chad!
Thanks Lou and Brad for coordinating. Guessing Lou had to do something special this year to get that walleye from Santa. So Caz gifts a CBA membership and since Brad is already a member, he gives it to Lung$hot who was planning on joining. Well done. And how about the cameo by hornhunter. Great group.
For you all not there that was a real rotten fish and it smelled the part. Dennis aka Santa aka Leatherneck Grandpa does like his road kill or whatever a dead fish counts as.
Fun time thanks Lou and Brad for putting together.
Had a great time last night, thanks Jaquomo and cnelk for putting it together!
I really want to know what the heck Jaquomo did that made Santa bring him that nasty ass dead fish!? And even more concerning is the sick twisty Santa that collects/delivers such things, something is not right with that fella!
Had a great time last nite boys..... good to put faces to Bowsite names. Can't wait to do it again. Looking forward to the Alaska story OTCWill. Keep posting Paul, I always look forward to your epic write ups
Lou and Brad, thank you guys for hosting and setting up the party. Had a great night. Also thanks to Caz and Brad for the CBA membership, much appreciated. Stoneman you can expect to see my paperwork sometime this week. I can still smell that rotten fish! Kinda lingers in your nostrils! Ha.
Damn, the more I see that group shoot, the more I like it! I don't look like the shortest person on earth when we're on our knees! ;-)
I've had the pleasure to be a part of these get-together's for a couple years now, and I can honestly say you'd be hard pressed to come up with a better group of down-to-earth guys! Thanks again Lou and Brad! You guys ROCK!!!
OK, maybe Santa will say a word or two........ Santa unexpectedly had 2 small elves show up at the North Pole Thurs afternoon. They planned to spend the night, so grandpa/Santa told Mrs. Claus he would be home asap. Santa sure would have liked to be part of that group pix. Maybe next year.....
The fish? Walleye, maybe 2 to 3 pounds. Great eatin' fish, fresh out of Lake Loveland Thurs afternoon. Well, it wasn't exactly "out" of Lake Loveland. More like, on the shore. Fully cured (since, oh, July?) Santa knew lil Jaquo liked to fish, so Santa thought Jaquo might like that fish for Christmas dinner.
That box of 500 Viagra pills......mistakenly got put in the wrong bag. Mrs. Claus gave that box to Santa Wednesday. Not sure how it got into Santa's big bag. (Secret......Santa and Ms. Claus still "get it on" a couple times a week. Yep. Sometimes we do it in the sleigh. And sometimes we let the reindeer watch! Ole Rudolph's nose really gets red and bright when he gets a peek!)
Melanie? Madeline? Now that girl is why Santa has a "naughty" list.
Lil Paul at the Fort might be the only guy on Bowsite who is older than Santa! That old geezer is hell on the geese. (Maybe Jaq will trade you - Christmas dinner - a fish for a goose?
Someone asked Santa last night why Santa doesn't post much on Bowsite anymore. Well.......Santa does lurk. Everyday. If Santa comes across something unusual that catches his interest, like, oh, say, beastiality or incest or Rosie O'Donnell (are those 3 related?) Santa might offer up an opinion. But Santa is usually too busy getting ready for the next Christmas season to get involved in the discussions.
Santa had a great time the short time he was there. And Santa hopes all those Bowsiters and their families have a great Christmas! Semper Fi and Merry Christmas!
