Awesome keep us posted Scar
Good luck Mark! Looking forward to some story telling upon your return!
Good luck! Looking forward to a report!
Let's see that knife in action... go get 'em.
Best of luck! Get it bloody!
Best of luck man! Looking forward to this thread. You
Let's hope you are resharpening soon !
Time to get K114 christened. Make Her(?) first hunt a good one!
Good luck!! Can't wait to start seeing K114 in action.
Pictures of K114 traveling could be fun too. Just sayin.
Looking forward to the adventures!
We made it to camp are all set up and eating lunch. Going to get changed and head out in a bit. High 30’s rain and a little wind.
Is this a bunny hunt, or some other critter?
T-Roy
We are hunting Coues and Mule Deer, Javelina, and maybe a bunny or two.
We saw three Coues bucks and three does tonight. The wind was all wrong and I only got about 300 yards from a small 2x3 and decided not to go after him.
Back at it tomorrow!
Get em Scar. Start this knifes adventure off right! Good luck and shoot straight
Tough morning, I was on 90” 3x3 with 4 does, they went into a draw never came out that I saw and I never saw them again. 4 plus hours of glassing seeing them. This tree was the last place I saw the buck. There was another small buck running around by them.
Couldn’t load three pictures, not sure why. Oh well...
Pretty dead last night, we are checking out a new spot today. I am having problems downloading pictures. I keep getting an error message. Have a great day!!!’
Hopefully some blood on that knife soon! Go get ‘em!
Man I wish! I found some new areas today that I have never been in. Looks promising! I saw nine does and a runt forky this morning. Pictures to follow!
How many? Any bucks?
How many? Any bucks?
How about here?
How about here?
Lovin’ life! Me and my wife
Lovin’ life! Me and my wife
Yesterday was dead, rain wind fog and cold. I hunted the morning and cleaned up around camp in the evening. Back at it today. You all have a great day’
Keep looking! The challenge should be to kill a 113 7/8" (or smaller) buck for the knife's blood baptism.
Keep after em. It will happen!!
FAILLURE? I Think Not!
Just as I was just getting the new area figured out, a phone call and an event at home required me to leave my hunt early. The family is fine... Just house stuff, GRRR! I was on a few nice bucks the last couple days, but out of cell service. It was a tough hunt in which I didn't kill, but it was a great learning experience. I don't feel it was a failure at all, as the experience and challenge of bowhunting is what I want! If this was a rifle hunt, there would be a dead 4X4 Coues in the cooler;/ Or possibly a nice 3x3 Muley...
No Javelina were spotted nor harmed on this hunt... But I was on an area last night that looked very promising.
I will forward the knife in the next day or so, and hopefully the next hunter will baptize it in blood! Good Luck on your hunts gentlemen and ladies! Please keep this thread going, and God Bless! I may go back and edit some of my posts and add some more pictures when I finish up my "Repairs"
It was a pleasure and an honor to be involved with this adventure! Mark.
Mark,
Thank you.
Your dedication to initiate this knife for Morgan, as well as your posts and pictures are much appreciated.
Congratulations on a safe hunt with the "K114".
Don
Good start thanks for sharing
I thought I would update this thread.
K114 will be leaving Ohio around 6:00 this evening headed back to Arizona. We are leaving fro Tucson early tomorrow morning headed to MX chasing coues. I will update on the knifes progress as service allows. The ranch is supposed to have WiFi, so hopefully daily updates will be possible.
This thread has the chance to catch Rowdy Dowdy:)
Good luck molsonarcher!
Good luck Molsonarcher! Hope you whack a 114” Coues!
Good luck Molsonarcher! I want K114 to be blessed with blood many times before it ventures our way!
Looking forward to the successful "south of the border" hunt and story. my best, Paul
Good Luck Brother! I am glad it reached you safely!
Have a blessed and wonderful trip, and get that thing bloody for goodness sake!
"This thread has the chance to catch Rowdy Dowdy:)" But will it be as entertaining as Rowdy Awesomeness?
The adventure south of the border did not go as planned. I had a great hunt, but was unsuccessful baptizing K114. I almost got it done on day one, but the wind switched at the last possible minute (he needed to take 2 more steps), the does spooked and off he went with them. Day 2 had a slammer coming on a string behind a doe, but she changed direction about 200 yds out and I never saw them again. Day 3 decided to do some spot and stalk, found a good buck in a perfect location and off I went. Got about halfway there when a bigger buck came over the hill, saw the ranger, and ran straight to where my target buck was bedded, taking him up the canyon with him.
Day 4 back in the blind. 2 does early, a dink a little later, then nothing for the rest of the day. Day 5 I decided to go with the guides and possibly fill the tag with the rifle in camp. While looking for a large buck seen earlier in the week, a monster was found so off we went. We got a good look at the deer at approximately 1300 yds as he was going over the hill. I didn’t know coues could get that big. We had 4 hunters in camp, so 2 went to the other side of the hill and we moved closer on our side in case they bumped him. An hour later the buck was down to the other hunters. They found him bedded and shot him when he stood to follow a doe.
It was a great hunt. The rut was virtually over, and the weather wasn’t the greatest for deer movement, but our group killed 2 great bucks. A 109, and a 132! Myself and the other hunter could have shot deer over 110”, but they were broken, and one was clearly a young deer and needed to grow up. He should be a giant in a year or two. I’m hoping I get to chase him next year when I go back.
Hopefully the next hunter in line with K114 will be able to get it done. I will be mailing it out tomorrow or Tuesday.
Sounds like a great adventure molsonarcher! Too bad you didn’t connect with a good one.
Thanks treeline. It really was. I saw 25-30 bucks and countless does. The mountainous terrain was a blessing and a curse. Spotting deer was easy enough, but trying to get in on them was difficult as they would not be there when we got to where they were. They had 8” of snow 3 weeks prior to our arrival, so there was water everywhere so they could water wherever they wanted. When we found any rut activity, there were multiple bucks with a hot doe. I tried several times to get close in this situation, but they moved around so much they were gone by the time I could even get to where they were. I tried rattling a few times, but all I got was a quick look and they went right back to the does. Frustrating but fun all at once.
Thanks for keeping us updated, Matt! Best of luck next year and of course the remainder of your 2019 season. Glad to be a part of this and I look forward to my run with K114 in 2020.
Hi Matt,
Thanks for taking K114 and for posting your hunt here! Sorry the trip didn't workout, but I know you had a great time!
Talk to you soon and God Bless!
Scar.
sounds like a great hunt Matt, had everything you could hope for except the happy ending! Best of luck to the next hunter who has K114!
Scar, can you edit your first post on this thread and maybe drop K114's schedule in? That way we can keep up with future hunt dates, etc in this thread and we won't need to ask who has it next? Thanks!
Brotsky,
Post updated with added dates and information.
God Bless!
I just set a stand yesterday in anticipation of getting out this weekend. I look forward to putting K114 to good use on some whitetail deer.
T-Mac,
Good Luck on your hunt brother, go get that thing bloody!!!!
God Bless!
Go get ‘em T-Mac!
Post a few pictures along the way!
Good luck!
Good luck tmac. The season continues. End with a bang.
Where are you hunting whitetails in February?
It is a local Town program in coordination with the State DEC to thin the herd.
I can't believe I missed this thread, good luck to all the hunters!
T mac the knife should be there by tomorrow. Get that thing broken in!
Ok sounds good. I look forward to christening it!
I’m looking forward to my chance to have Kelly along in spirit. In addition to K114 I’ll be wearing my new lucky hunting shirt. Anytime you are out in the woods and mountains you’re living like you’re in Kellyville!
Yessir mule I will be wearing my t-shirt
Good luck TMac! Lay down a 114"!
Go Get Em Brother!!! Get That Thing Bloody!!!! Good Luck and God Bless!!!
I am out on stand with K114 right now. Will keep u posted
No luck yet! I will be down in the Florida keys fishing until 2/21 and then back at it in stand for deer until it’s passed on to Mike. I am very optimistic that it will get bloody. I will update upon my return.
At the very least if I didn’t kill anything with that knife I would make some elk filets and use it at the dinner table! ;-)
Trust me I will be disappointed if I don’t get it bloody. I am very optimistic given past season results.
Break it in for me TMac! You can do it brother!
At this point, go ahead and gut a fish with it:) LOL
Have a great and safe trip!
Scar.
Ha I was thinking that but god forbid my checked baggage got lost I’d never live that down....
Good luck TM, If that knife isn't christened soon, Scar is gonna have to cut his finger with it or something.
Wait, you're not drinking Budweiser in the presence of that knife, are you? That could explain everything.
Listen guys, I'm scheduled to take it on a bear hunt in June, and I don't want to be wondering if that knife is carrying a bit of bad mojo.
You just know Kelly is up there thinking: "I am in their head".
I could guarantee it would get well bloodied on our annual May bear hunt, here in BC. We typically kill several in a three day hunt.
Hopefully it happens soon!
Ok boys just want to give you an update. I’m in the stand with K114. I have a light (yes legal) affixed to my bow and will be in stand until 8 pm or if I get a shot sooner.
Come on T get that thing bloody.
I certainly hope to. We have a front coming in later tonight but I’ve never had much luck before one. I know they say hunt the front but maybe my luck changes tonight.....nothing yet but squirrel olympics
Good luck, T! Hopefully some customers swing by soon:-)
Just had a fat raccoon waddle by.....when you only rely on sound you’re keen on deer footsteps
Well guys that’s a wrap K114 remains clean!
Send it my way TMac. We have the Porkapalooza on March 28th and I am a weak man when a hog goes broadside. With a little luck, we might just get that thing bloody. I know it's not for a lack of trying that's for sure.
Ok update I was back down in Fla for weekend but will be getting out quit a bit over next 10 days in hopes of christening K114.
Ok update I was back down in Fla for weekend but will be getting out quit a bit over next 10 days in hopes of christening K114.
How long is the season? And you can hunt at night??
Yes it’s a town issued damage permit on town property now only 24/7 until 9/30. I stop by 4/1 or so
I'm getting K114 in a month and it damn well better be broken in by then!
I'm also bringing it to the Bowsite social at P&Y so it will get a whole lotta good karma injected that night.
Heading to stand now will update in a bit
I'm starting to reconsider my use of K114! Ha! Let's break out of the slump tonight T-Mac!
Come on Brotsky, send out some good MoJo brother! I think one reason it hasn't been bloodied up yet is the guys hunting with it are holding out for mature animals, this includes me. It'll happen... Right T-Mac???
Go gettem T!
Here is the scene 20 yards out is a feeder that the town sets out in co junction with DEC. they select approx 8 hunters assign them a property. The deer have been hunted for 4 months so they are extremely skittish. I’m hoping for a dumb one to come in before dark.
"I'm getting K114 in a month and it damn well better be broken in by then!

Or else the first guy to pass out is gonna have a scar!
It is not a slam dunk by any means but I’ve been fortunate to take a couple each year during feb-march season.....we’ll see
Knock one down tonight T-Mac! If the weather there is anything like it is here they have to be hungry!
Well that’s a wrap boys, no creatures were harmed nor seen!
TMac, tell the truth, are you starting to worry that K114 is a jinx?
For a town with a “deer problem” I have sat 15 hours on stand over a feeder and yet to see a deer in daylight. Yes, I’m growing concerned.
You guys want to wait until November 2020 and I'll bloody that sumbitch. ;)
Yea, Scott, that sucker is about to get some major blood this spring.
Kelly is just sitting there n Heaven laughing at us. He can't believe we can't get a single thing down. He's like" so this is the best you guys can do for me?" Maybe we need selfie boot shot to kick this thing off.
Hot diggitty Dawg! We got blood!
Yes sir! I will update in a.m. as to recovery. Looks to be a liver hit so I will wait overnight. Temp is 30 degrees and no coyotes so morning it is.
The waiting is the hardest part....(Tom Petty)
The waiting is the hardest part....(Tom Petty)
C'mon TMac! Start with deer and I'll pour some boar blood on it in a couple of weeks.
I know you will Mike. When it comes to pigs “you’re a very weak man.”
Go get em T-Mac!!! Make it bloody baby!
Nada from TMac!?
Kelly is gonna get mad soon if nobody covers that knife in blood!
Boys Kelly was with me for sure on this blood trail!!!!!!!
Dang, the suspense is killin’ us!
Atta boy! Congrats. Exit wound I'm assuming?
Way to go, T Mac!!! The tiki jinx is broken!
LOL! The knife wasn't Jinxed!!! We were just picky:) LOL
WAY TO GO T-MAC!!! Congratulations and I bet it will eat very nicely!!!!
AWESOME all the way around!!!
Who has it next? Congrats, T-Mac!
Good job TMac! Glad you got it done! I couldn't help thinking that if is was a REAL Kelly Harris hunting thread nothing was going to be killed. LOL
I just had a great chat with Mark and shared the blood trail recap. I shot her last night at 6 PM and went in this morning at 6:45 AM to take up the blood trail. The blood trail was very sporadic but my buddy Dave and I were able to stumble upon it every so often and pick it back up . The deer ended up going 1.1 miles my longest blood trail ever Kelly was certainly watching over us. The exit wound plugged and we found some fat that unplugged and put us on blood again. She crossed a road and through several yards before finding her in a small thicket. We were close to calling it quits when we found blood across the road. The most insane bloodtrail I’ve ever been on!
INBOWDUDE is up next, then Jaquamo!
T-MAC is the man! That is true dedication and perseverance!
Very Well Done Sir!
I like it:-)
Kelly is smiling!
Congrats! I was starting to get concerned.
Nice job. Deer down! An all inclusive vacation in Kellyville.
Congrats, way to stick with it!!
Congratulations... great start to a long journey.
Hey Mike K114 is on it’s way and expected to arrive Thursday 3/14. Good Luck!
That knife will do some serious cleaning at Porkapalooza!! I bet Mike and Les and the whole crew will get involved with it. Will need a sharpening for sure when they are done. Congrats T Mac!!
Thanks T-Mac. Boothill- you are right. Not only do I hope to personally use it, I'm gonna share that blade with everybody in camp except for Yode. He likes to cut himself too much! All I'm saying is I've never stabbed myself at Shiloh bad enough to require stitches. Just a nick here and there while cleaning hogs.
Great job and glad it was blooded! Given my luck on turkeys, I'm glad the cherry was popped before it arrived. Look for it in Omaha next month at rhe Bowsite social, now thankfully initiated!
K114 has arrived! What a fantastic blade and the journal is not only inspiring but brought a tear to my eyes when I think about Kelly. We will make him proud. By the time this journey is done, this story will be epic. I know this is going to be another chapter in my next book. 2 weeks and Porkapalooza will start. Cheers!
I’m glad K114 arrived safely without incident. It really is a beautiful knife and fantastic gesture by Scar Finga to donate. Best of luck INbowdude!
I'm very pleased you guys like it, it was is of my favorites and I am very happy it is being put to very good use! As I have said, it is an honor to be apart of this, and it was my pleasure to donate it:)
God Bless!
how cool would it be to end up with that knife being a super slammer. It would take longer but I bet there are bowsiters booked for each species and it would be doable over a few years.
13 days and counting! Scar you did a phenomenal job on that knife and sheath. Very cool journal too.
Mike... THAT, is an AWESOME Picture Right There!!!!!!
Congratulations T MAC ,
You and your buddy Dave, followed the kind of blood trail Kelly, and Jay G, would enjoy and be proud of.
Thank you, Pops/Don
Thank you Don. I had thought about JayG and how Kelly said he was great on a bloodtrail! I’m just glad to be a part of the whole experience. Here’s a couple hats I received from Kelly when I came closest to the score of his 150 + buck.
This may be out of line, and I apologize if it is!!! But, if anybody has an extra Kellyville shirt or one of his hats, that they would be wiling to part with, I would love to have one. I wear an extra large shirt (yes, I am Fat:/ ) and, I am willing to pay for it! Let me know.
Thanks,
Scar.
Speaking of Kellyville T-shirts, does anyone have the link to order shirts? Millie and I were talking about that this past weekend. We're going to keep them in a drawer until it's our turn to travel with K114.
Thanks.
K114 is in Oklahoma! Porkapalooza starts tomorrow at noon.
Good luck Inbow stick a fatty
Excellent! Here we go!
Good Luck!!!
Mule Power's Link
Link to the shirts. Click that you want one and they’ll make more. That’s what I did and it wasn’t long.
K114 has to be makin' bacon by now! Good luck boys!
K114 and Kelly are messing with the hunt. No hogs tonight.
Here piggie, piggie!
Come out, come out wherever you are!
SOOOOOO WHEEEEEE!
Hunt4life scores last night and breaks K114 in. Glad to see a Bowsiter get some pig blood on that knife. A bit more would be nice and then on to turkey season.
Where are the Pictures? No Pictures, No proof:)
Alright! Way to go! Keep up the good work....AND POST PICS!
K114 got to drink some more pig blood tonight. I arrowed a nice sow at the last minute. Pics forthcoming.
Perfect! Happy you guys had a good, safe and successful hunt!
Congratulations!
K114 and my last night, last minute sow.
Hunt4life Mike Baughman christening K114 with boar blood.
Hunt4life Mike Baughman christening K114 with boar blood.
K114 headed to Nebraska and turkeys with Jaquomo. Good luck!
Well done gents! I believe today is Kelly's birthday. It's only fitting that someone enjoys a cold beer with K114 in his honor! I'll be hoisting one later this afternoon and thinking of him and his family. God bless.
Thank you Justin,
Today is indeed Kelly's, birthday.
The entire family of Kelly Steven Harris, would like to thank all of the "Bowsiter's" who hold Kelly's, memory in your thought's, your expression's of kindness, and your prayer's.
God Bless
Happy Birthday, Kelly! We are all better for having known you, even though for some of us, it was only here on Bowsite.
I'm pretty sure that whoever takes KH114 hunting with them is going to be blessed with Kelly's luck, and also his wicked sense of humor and love of a good prank. I'm predicting when I take the knife Bear Hunting, I'll have a chance at a nice bear, and also probably fall flat on my face in the mud ... or something like that.
I will raise a beer to Kelly later tonight, and also to all those who love and miss him.
Here's to Kelly, pop one open and raise it high for him, his family, friends and all the Bowsiters!!
God Bless!!!!
A High Life for your birthday tonight Kelly.
:-)
I am toasting him right now! Happy birthday Kelly. Hope you are enjoying this thread!!
Happy birthday, Kelly. Toasting a couple to you tonight and hoping 114 draws bird blood tomorrow. You live on in the hearts and minds of so many. Hope they are gobbling up there, my friend!
For sure, fellas! Kelly was fun to have around here. You could tell his heart was big and he wore it on his sleeve. Happy Birthday in heaven, Kelly.
Bloody that knife, Lou!
Happy birthday Kelly!
Got a good feeling about it getting some turkey blood on it in short order!
We all know how much of a turkey slayer Jaquomo is:-)
Best of luck Lou. Not that you need it since you have that anal advantage. Lol
Jaq,
Please for the sake of all Bowsite/ man kind, Do Not get that turkey A$$ scent gland/ anal butt leakage on K114!!!
Thanks, and good luck!
K114 hasn't arrived yet and I passed up 8 birds inside 10 yards tonight while waiting... Hopefully it will be delivered tomorrow!
Scar, just in case: what's a safe way to disinfect that knife? Alcohol? Autoclave? Blood of a virgin? A Liberal's Tears?
Asking for a friend,
Ace,
You can use any of the listed items, but if it's alcohol, K114 Prefers Blanton's Single Barrel, Don Julio or Patron Tequila, or at the very least some Grey Goose and Tonic with a nice lime wedge. In a real pinch Kelly would be fine with you using any Miller product!
Thanks for asking!
Unfortunately there isn't enough alcohol in Miller products to disinfect anything... I'll use some Glenfiddich, which should do it.
And...K114 gets a taste of turkey blood!
The big tom had already flown across the river channel to roost but I called him to the edge, then purred him back across and right into the dekes. The Bullhead did the rest at 10 yards. The only thing holding his head on was a little flap of skin.
A few more days to hunt, then K114 is going to P&Y!
Good job Lou! Keep after ‘em!
Excellent! Congrats Jaq, nice job on a beautiful bird. Maybe that knife has a little mojo afterall.
The knife adventure almost ended as it barely began... Fed Ex said they delivered it on Thursday to the NE farm where I'm hunting. Not here. None of the neighbors had seen it either. Then on a whim, my farmer friend checked an abandoned farmhouse down the road and there it sat. Mike had the address correct. The address is on the mailbox in front of my friend's house where he lives. Nobody has lived in this old house for over a decade. Why the driver decided to leave it there...well.. perhaps he graduated from University of Nebraska, where the "N" stands for "Nowledge"..
:-)
Awesome Lou! Congratulations on a very good bird!!!
Man I wish I was able to go to the P&Y gathering!! I hope you all have a wonderful time! Please have all Bowsiters sign the book for Kelly and Morgan!
God Bless, and be safe!
Congrats Lou! Nice bird!!
Way to go Lou. Glad you got it and put it to good use. Nice bird. Congrats my friend. Time for a second bird.
Congrats on a nice tom!!!
That’s actually pretty cool, Lou. A grand adventure for K114! Am sure it will not be the last! See ya in Omaha!
Way to go Lou,
Congratulations
Good stuff guys. Congratulations all.
I signed the book last night and held the knife. That knife is going to be less a lot of steel before I get it.
Funny enough, after holding the knife, I was helping Palmquist count the money raised for the donations at the meet and greet. This is no lie... the initial tally came up to $1,114. Thought that was pretty cool.
Had a few dozen Bowsiters sign the journal last night at the Meet & Greet, those sober enough to hold the pen, anyway! Including Pat and Charlie. It also got to tour the trophy display. Now its on the way to Jay VanConant (altitude sick) overnight Fex Ex for Monday delivery for his Tuesday departure to Africa for Cape Buff. Good luck, Jay! Keep the blood flowing!
Thanks Lou, It sounds like you guys had a great time. Thanks for supporting a great organization. All the beer and bourbon pics are a great motivator to attend next year. I’ll let you know when I receive it.
Nice work jaq! Good luck altitude keep us updated.
Good luck Altitude! We got so busy talking and meeting new folks that we missed the opportunity to sign the journal. We’ll have the knife and journal in August for antelope so we’ll make up for lost time. Proud to be a part of such a great group of guys!
Lou, Mark, I just received “K114” in perfect condition. It’s an honor to carry this on my trip to pay respect to a friend to many. I leave tomorrow.
“K114” is safely in Africa. More to come. I will post as the signal allows. Still have a 5 hr drive left today.
Go get em Jay!
Best of luck and God Bless!!
Off on another great adventure! Can't wait to see the results...
Shoot Straight, Jay!
Good Luck on your hunt Jay, I hope K114 brings you luck!
Without K114, Lou thought his hunting success might end, so he held the knife very close to his neck. Thank GOD I talked him out of it. Good choice Lou!

Lou with K114 at the PY Convention. The knife lived up to its repetition allowing a good tom to be killed by Lou. Good Karma for sure.
A quick update. No blood on K114 yet. It’s hot and the buffalo are staying in the thick brush. We have had 3 great stalks so far. Very exciting. Last evening we were 40 yds but no shot before the wind swirled. The wind has got us every time. We have a pack of wild dogs in the area hunting and they have everything spooked up.
Exciting? Yeah? Ya think?!! Best of luck, Jay! Tomorrow...
Lou, Ken and Fritz are the real deal.
Awesome Jay, Good Luck!!!
Checking in... best of luck Jay! I’m feeling lucky for you.
Guys, I have updated the dates at the top of the post... A name has been added for 2020.
We have a lot of dates open for 2020 hunts! All takers are welcome, and it DOES NOT have to be an archery hunt! I cleared this with Kelly's family and all hunt types are open!
Please remember that if you decide to take the knife on an adventure, it will be your responsibility to make sure it is delivered to the next person in line! Even if that means over night delivery at your expense!
If you are unable to take the knife on your scheduled dates, please forward it on, or return it me, and I will forward it!
Thanks again for taking it on an awesome adventure!
God Bless!
Mark (AKA- Scar)
No buffalo sighted yesterday. We were too far behind them on the tracks and didn’t catch them before dark. Many other critters spotted though.
It all finally came together on day 5. We had a great stalk through the grass and my PH. Fritz Rabe, got me to within 25 yds. I put the 250 Iron will through lungs and the bull went about 200 yds.

K114 now has Buffalo blood on it.
WoooHoooo!!!! Awesome job, Jay. Congrats!
Using K114 to start out.
Using K114 to start out.
Ken and Fritz are the real deal! Vast buffalo experience. Don’t think twice about it if your interested in a quality safari.
WOW!!!! Jay that is so incredible man! Beautiful bull! So happy to be apart of this and see all the awesome adventures!
Very well done sir, and Congratulations! Thanks again for taking the knife!
God Bless!
How awesome is that, Jay!! I know, it's not quite the same drama as calling in and killing a big turkey, but congratulations nonetheless!! :-)
That's what I'm talking about! Congrats, Jay!
That’s awesome! Great job!!
Way to go Jay! Congratulations on a great looking buffalo!
K114 is certainly getting around!
It’s an honor to have this knife over here. Everyone over here thinks it’s a very nice thing to send this knife on all these hunts.
That is awesome! Kelly is smiling for sure. Congrats on a beautiful trophy, and one hell of an adventure.
That is awesome Jay! Congrats on your buffalo! It's going to be so cool when we get K114 to look through the journal and see all of the adventures. Has anyone thought of adding the trophy pictures to the journal itself? I.E. Print out a trophy pic to put in the journal from each successful hunt featuring K114? I think that would be a nice touch.
That is awesome congrats to all!
Congrats Jay! Outstanding job. What's next on your hit list in Africa?
Congrats Jay! Noah and I are the next ones on the schedule, and can't wait to read the journal as well....Brotsky, I was also thinking of printing a photo and adding it to the journal...Noah is ready to go for his first big game kill ever.
Congrats Jay! Kelly is smiling!
You go, Noah! You write the journal entries for us, ok? GL.
Looks like you're ready Noah! Get yourself a big ol' bear!
Incredible animals. Congrats.
We concentrated on a Sable for my wife. Also after the buffalo hunt I hunted Honey Badger. They built a leopard type blind and hung impala for bait. When it was being hit regularly we started our vigil at 4pm. Prepared to sit all night. Luckily he appeared right at dark. I made the shot and he crawled in a warthog Hole the Jack Russel “Jesse” drug it out for us. We could have killed many trophy animals after the buffalo hunt. But we have taken most of the plains game species and were concentrating on the Sable which of course really narrows the odds. It’s very early season for bow hunting. There is water everywhere and the grass is still tall and green. Making blind hunting tough. But we definitely could have taken many, many other species. I had my eye on a really big Eland also. But the Sable and Eland can wait till after my next Buffalo hunt. This being my 2nd archery buffalo hunt (1st successful) I am now officially hooked. I was actually hooked even after the unsuccessful first attempt. I’m a working stiff and now have to go home to start my next safari fund.
Noah K114 will be headed your way Thursday when I get back.
That's awesome, Jay! Congratulations on your success and for taking K114 on the journey.
Congrats, Jay....wow!
Good luck, Noah!!!
This is a very special thread! Following with keen interest...............................
Thanks Jay and everyone, Noah and I are excited to read the journal, and add our own story as well!
Awesome hunt Jay! Congrats again on the Buffalo!
Such a wonderful thread and story. Just beginning.
Go gittem, Noah!
Rattling.......Noah must take after his mom. He has all of his teeth! ;-)
Hopefully you can read my scribbling, it’s more of a factual timeline, account then a poetic narrative.
t-roy, He definitely got his good looks and teeth from his mother! Hoping the knife gets here for by Monday, because the forecast is looking like it might be a go.
Jay,
What an outstanding trophy !
Kelly, would be proud !
To all who have carried the "K114", a very heartfelt, "Thank you for caring"
Don
What a very cool tribute! When I signed the journal at PY, all i was thinking is how cool for Morgan to be able to show this to her kids and say, "these were friends with grandpa and took this knife with his name on it ALL over the world"!
Honored to have my name "in the book"
Don, it was an honor to be able to "blood" it and also take it to P&Y for everyone to sign. Every year Kelly and I talked about me coming to the deer camp. That was the year I hoped to make it happen. So carrying a little of his spirit on a hunt was a gift.
Scar asked me to post more pics with the knife.
Scar asked me to post more pics with the knife.
sorry I don’t have any others because I was so paranoid about losing the knife. So didn’t want to carry it around.
Pretty sure Kelly would chime in here with something like: "that's one big ass buffalo!"
The knife arrived today, and is in great shape. It will be in bear camp tomorrow and hopefully Noah can skin his first bear with it Wednesday morning....David
Good luck Noah! Looking forward to the next chapter in K114's journey!
That’s great to hear Dave. Good luck Noah. Please Keep us posted as the hunt progresses.
Good Luck Noah! Go gettem buddy!
God Bless!
Good luck Noah! Get a big one!
Keep the karma going, young fella!
Noah had a big smile reading the comments, we are off to pick up some bait at Carcus', place. Weather isn't ideal, but we are going to try.
Good luck, shoot a big one! And don't forget to leave a bit of Bear Luck in that knife for the next guy!
Good luck, Noah!
Can't wait to get my chance on this journey!

K114 success!
K114 success!
Awesome Pictures and great success!
Congrats! What an exciting story.
TTT Where or where is K114 these days?
Greetings,
The knife should be in NB Canada on a Bear hunt. I have not been on here in the last week and half. I will follow up and see where it's at and how things are going.
K114 is with me, awaiting the upcoming New Brunswick Bear hunt next week. Fresh off an ultra exciting and successful bear hunt with RattingJunkie (Dave) and his son Noah.
I'd like to add that it's a really beautiful knife and the journal is very special as well. Scar this is a really nice thing you've done, and a fitting tribute to a great man, and Bowsite brother.
I will be taking Kelly's memory with me, and I will always keep in mind his Attitude: Win, Lose or Draw: a fun time will be had with good friends, we will eat well, laugh a lot, and a few beers will be consumed! After me I believe it goes to Scoot.
Ace,
Thank you for following up and participating in this awesome adventure!
I hope you have a successful and incredible hunt!
God Bless, and get that thing bloody:)
Congrats to rattling_junkie and Noah!!! Good luck Ace!
Hello K114 friends, Most of you may have seen that I will be taking K114 with me here in a few weeks on a Bear hunt in Idaho. 18 years ago I started a non-profit kids hunting camp that has 3 events/functions each year. The first is our kids hunting camp in which we have put bows into over 4,000 kids hands over the last 18 years. The 2nd and 3rd is that we do hunting trips for kids with a life threatening illness. Usually this is CANCER. I have been arranging these hunts for over 11 years now. In 2016 I left another Org. and started doing the hunts directly thru my non profit. We do a Bear hunt each spring and a Elk hunt each fall. There is a huge ironic twist in my plight with K114. I have been around CANCER and these kids for years, then last night Scar Finga realized I am the same Mt. Man who posted on Bowsite a few days ago for strength in numbers with a prayer request for my beautiful wife that was just diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Scar was sure the Bear hunt was OFF because of my wife. NEGATIVE GHOST RIDER!!! We were just at the gun range last night getting Bailey dialed in with her Brand New RUGER 6.5 Creedmoor and Custom Leupold scope with her name engraved on it. Thanks to Ruger and Leupold. We can't wait for K114 to come our way and hopefully little Bailey who has battled cancer will be popping up here with a bloody knife. Thanks for your prayers for Bailey and my wife folks. God is GREAT and he has it. Scar said I could say but if anyone ever wants to support these kids hunting trips. www scooters youth hunting dot camp (no spaces) if you get my drift. Thanks again. SCOOT send it my way when you are done!!! (Pic is of little Bailey shooting her custom gun last night in preparation)

So Awesome, but sad at the same time... This, is why we are doing this!! Kelly and his family would be 100% percent behind this!!! Give a little, and make a kid smile!
Mt. Man, we need info on how to donate, I will be first in line!! Thanks for all you do! Continued prayers your way and for your beautiful wife, and beautiful Bailey as well! God Bless you all, and I pray His healing powers upon you!!!
Well... I'm in a tree in New Brunswick Canada and K114 is here with me hunting bears. I must have got a little something in my eye here while reading these last posts.
I'll be sending the knife along with all the luck, positive energy and good karma to Scoot then it'll go on to MtMan and Bailey.
Shortly after arriving here in camp I got word that my best hunting buddy had a heart attack back in GA. He flatlined in the ambulance but they revived him and he's doing much better. Prayers out to you Jimmy, and to Bailey, Mt Man's wife, Kelly's daughter Morgan, my bud Del, and everyone else fighting a fight. With Kelly and the Bowsite bow brothers pulling for you, great things will surely happen.
Hug those close to and tell them you love them.
"Hug those close to and tell them you love them"
Amen Ace. I understand the leaking eye thing, life can be very hard sometimes, embrace every moment, and never fail to say I love you!
Prayers for Jimmy from AZ as well!
Sow on the bait now. No cubs, hope her boyfriend shows up.
Good Luck Ace! Get-R-Done! Thanks for the prayers as well.
Scar Finga I knew Kelly and did a lot of praying for Morgan as well. I shy away from making this a donation plea for our hunts, but since you asked there is a simply "Donate" button on our website main page as well as the "Hunting Dreams" tab on our page. Thanks all!
MORGAN: if you see this all of us on Bowsite love ya and LOVED praying for you over the years! God is GOOD!
Hello everyone!!! This thread fills me with SO much joy! I love seeing you wanting to order Kellyville shirts and you all enjoying your hunts.
We haven’t opened the shirt in a while so I will see if we can soon for anyone who wants some.
Although I want to read all about your hunts in this thread, I am trying to wait until I get the journal to see!!
Thank you all for your unconditional support through this time. It’s only been a year and two days since Kelly passed, and that seems like only yesterday to me it happened. But knowing that his light shines throughout the country (and world) brings me to tears. Thank you all again for everything you’ve done.
Morgan you have a special place in all of our hearts and prayers girl!
LOVE from IDAHO!
We love you, Morgan, and it was a great honor to carry the knife and put it to use. Hopefully you will also use it for decades, filled with magical karma.
Morgan, believe us when we say we are proud and honored to carry on Kelly's love of life and his legacy by carrying K114 on our hunts with us. Very much looking forward to adding our chapter to the journal for you in a couple months. God bless you, your mom, and the rest of your family and hope things are going as well for you guys as they can!
Morgan, I really can't say more than the gentlemen said before me, but please know that it is truly an honor for us all to do this! You and your family are always in our prayers!
God Bless!
He should be in ID, I’ve been impatiently waiting for an update! :-)
Yep, It's in ID. Scoot has it right now for bear, and then it goes to Mt. Man for bear. Mt. Man's hunt is actually for a cancer survivor hunt for Bailey!!! Very Cool Stuff, I wish them all a ton of success!
Good Luck to All, and God Bless!!!
Hope Scoot and Ryan are getting that knife bloody!
Scoot may post on here in the next couple days, so I won't give up any details. But, that man has taught his boy some great ethics and patience! Scoot, you are a great dad and mentor to your boy! Very well done sir, and a great job by your boy as well!
"That's all I have to say about that!" (Forrest Gump)
God Bless Brothers, and Sisters!!
Ryan is wise well beyond his years as a bowhunter! That boy is going to have great success in life with the skills he’s learned from his old man and all the experiences he’s had!
Good to know, I have not seen it yet. I will go check the P.O. Box at Lunch time today.
K114 showed up yesterday, we took Bailey up to camp today. She will be on the stand tomorrow night and several bears on trail cams. Hopefully bloody K114 pics soon, but for now just a knife and a beautiful cancer survivor!! Good luck Bailey!
Great picture Mt.man. It doesn’t really matter if the knife gets bloody Scoot. Just that it’s along for the ride. And we get to share it on this thread.
Go Get Em Bailey!!!!!!
Great picture Mt Man, Keep us posted!
Hopefully Bailey is enjoying that beautiful Idaho scenery about now waiting for her first bear! Go get 'em Bailey!
Scoot,
I think today is the last day of the hunt. I was going to text him, but I will wait for tomorrow.
Came home and headed straight to the hospital for an MRI appointment. My wife is getting her chemo port put in tomorrow morning. I will start a picture heavy post soon, but for now........... SHE DID GOOD!!!
I will say she did well. For sure.
That is awesome Scott! Love it! Praying for good results for your wife as well!
Great pictures! Very exciting. Congrats!!
Way to go, Bailey!! Congrats!! Prayers sent as well for your wife, Mt. man. Hopefully all goes well for her!
WAY TO GO BAILEY!!!! Excellent job, and I can't wait to read the whole story!!
As always Scott, Prayers for you and Kami!!
God Bless!
Congratulations Bailey! Great bear! Great work Scott with all you do for these kids!
Praying for good news on the MRI and Chemo port for you and Kami.
Nice to see Morgan posting!

Thanks for letting us be a part of this! God bless ??! Morgan and the Harris family we will always be in your corner!
It sure is going to be a tough act to follow after Bailey’s amazing hunt and story but I know the next hunter in line is sure ready to make her mark in K114’s journey! 38 days to go!
Awesome picture Justin. Can't wait to follow along on the hunt!
Awesome Brother, What is the little lady's name? We all wish you luck!!!!
Great smile. Looking forward to the hunt story.
Go Get em Brotsky! K114 should be at your place today!
Thanks for the heads up Scott! Looking forward to reading the journal entries so far!
Thanks Scoot,
I couldn't for the life of me remember! Man I am getting old;/ I am sure she will do an outstanding job!!
K114 arrived safely in SD! Now I have a family fighting over who gets to read the journal first! Kia won of course!
Good luck Lil' k,
Kelly, loved to see and help young folks get involved in hunting. I know he would be rooting for your success.
Good luck to you be safe.
Morgan - Our kids always enjoyed following your exploits with your dad and they’re enjoying seeing the other kids using K114... big and little.
You know how special your dad was and he spread that all around. And you do too.
My kids have adopted one of your catch phrases from one of your hunts.
It’s fairly regular that my kids look at me and say, “But Dad, it’s food!”
Please count us in for some Kellyville shirts and please continue posting your hunts with your mom, grandpa, uncles and friends. Your perseverance, attitude and demeanor have led to you having some small fans in our house... as well as a couple older ones.
Our thoughts are with you, your mom and your family.
Thanks so much Don! We appreciate it! I already know our time with K114 will be a success because it brings us closer to Kelly and helps all of us put things into perspective. God bless you and your family!
Yahoo! GO KIA!!! Can't wait to see your speed goat!
Well, Brotsky's and KIA's hunt starts tomorrow!!! Let's all wish them luck, and for a safe and successful hunt!
God Bless!
Look forward to the story and pics
Best of luck Kia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks guys, hunt actually starts Thursday, we leave for WY on Wednesday morning. Kia is ready, hopefully the pronghorn are ready to do their part! Ha! I'll do a separate thread on her hunt semi-live for those who may be interested in following along.
TTT, It's about to continue:)
Best of luck to you young lady!!
Alright guys our chapter with K114 is over and it’s on to Colorado!
LOVE LOVE LOVE it KIA!!!!
Sounds like a good match, Scoot!
I’m not sure Scoot could afford the bride price demanded by the father. No one has that much Busch Light and Dot’s pretzels! :-)
Kia, all boys are bad. Don’t trust any.
Scoot, Coors Light and Banana Bread? What does your husband get? Ha! Ryan’s a great kid, I could only be so lucky to have Kia meet a kid with a good head about him like Ryan. These Bowsite kids are alright!
Randy hit the nail on the head there!
Congratulations again to the goat slayers!
Great journey K114 is on and getting to spend quality time with so many great people on their adventures!
A hunt has been added for 2020. JW, will be hunting mountain lion in Colorado. 1/18/2020 - 1/24/2020
Please see my first post in this thread for all dates and hunts. Also, we still have several times in 2020 available. Let me know if you are interested!
Thanks and God Bless!
Just checked the schedule and I see Lungshot is up next. Best of luck on your hunt!!
Brotsky's Link
Just realized I never linked the thread for Kia's hunt with K114 into this thread. I'm sure most everyone saw it but the link above will take you to the thread for her K114 hunt if someone comes here that has not seen her hunt story. Good luck Joe, hopefully the elk God's are good to you!
Here we come!
Here we come!
Hey guys, sorry I haven’t given any updates since receiving K114. Been super busy with work, tying up loose ends and getting ready for the hunt. Headed out in the AM. I’m hunting the first few days with a buddy from work who drew an awesome tag in Southern Co. should be an awesome addition to the K114 adventure! Morgan, such an honor to carry K114 in Kelly’s name. Will certainly do our best to put it to work. God bless!
It’s almost our turn Scar! Hopefully there’s some moose blood on the handle when it shows up to me. It’s had some great adventures so far.
Lungshot,
Good luck brother! I wish you both a safe and successful hunt!
Crusader,
I am getting more excited everyday!!! I Can't Wait!
Lungshot had it for elk and mule deer until 9/8, and then it was supposed to go to ArcheryBS for Alaska Moose.
I reached out to Lungshot for an update , but haven't heard back from him. I will try and call him today.
I can only assume that ArcheryBS received the knife and journal and has it in Alaska. He has it until the 25th, and then it goes to Crusaderdad in WI. I will be joining CrusaderDad and K114 for a whitetail hunt on the 26th. It should be a blast, Shane is a great guy!
I will post an update when I know more.
God Bless!
Yeah let’s not drop this post 9 months in.
No way are we dropping this! :)
All is well, and I spoke to Lungshot… he will provide an update. The knife is in Alaska- Hopefully covered in moose blood.
God Bless!
I don't know how I missed this, but it's really cool. Would love to get on the docket as I hunted with Kelly and Don once - great men! K114 knife wasn't with me when I shot my pb Buck 10/4/2018 but his spirit was, the odds of getting that buck and how it all played out was spiritual, etherial, surreal and a bit divine. Also had my father entering hospice at the time. This year's huge buck 9/17/2019, the hunt was identical in every way, only this time I had two Harris hunter's in heaven bringing that buck to me.
Jack, you are welcome to use the knife on a hunt, there are a lot of dates still open! Go to my first post on here and it shows all the dates and hunts with whom and where.
PM me if you want more info.
Thank you sir, and God Bless!!
Update:
Well guys, my time with K114 was short. The original plan was to head down south with a buddy of mine and hunt for 6/7 days. He drew a pretty good tag in Southern Colorado. Then I would pick it up and head up north for my hunt with my son. I arrived in camp the night of August 31. We were up early the next day Sept 1 with packs and glass in hand. Boy was it HOT and dry. We spent the whole first day getting our bearings and just looking for sign...any sign. Seemed to be few and far between.
Day 2: We were up before the sun as we knew it would be another scorcher. Wanted to be to the glassing knob before it got hot. We knew the elk would bed early and the only shot we had to find any would be glassing before they hit the timber. We’d not heard any bugles or cow calls so calling didn’t seem like the answer just yet.
Long story short we only spotted 1 group of elk after 3 days of hunting and it was a bachelor group of 6 bulls. All were fairly average for the area with the exception of 1 bull which was a gagger of an elk. Not a great scoring judge but he was 350 all day and then some. Where we spotted these bulls was literally 3/400 yards from the property line where we could hunt and of course they were on the private side. We watched them for a couple hours hoping they would cross back over and bed but never did happen. On day 4 my buddy passed on 1 small bull which came in silent to cow calls. But that was it. He decided to save his remaining vacation days and come back later in the month. After moving some trail cams we were out of there and on our way back home.
Unfortunately, I’ve not since been back in the elk woods this year due to some family issues and tons of work piling up. Always next year. K114 is a beautiful knife and it was a complete pleasure to pack into the elk woods on this short trip. Reading the journal so far was even better. Thanks to Mark (Scar Finga) for starting such an awesome journey.
K114 made it safe to Alaska and hopefully has some moose DNA soaked into it by now. Good luck to all the future K114 hunters.
Lungshot,
You saw bulls passed on a opportunity and did what you came to do! In my opinion, that was a successful hunt!
Thank you for taking K114 on your adventure!
Sign up for next year!!!!
God Bless Brother!
K114 in all its glory.
K114 in all its glory.
Just a few photos from our short trip.
Just a few photos from our short trip.
Good stuff Joe! The journal itself is worth the price of admission!
Man, your right about that Justin! Well put.
The Beautiful thing is... There is no price for admission! Just a willingness to take the knife and journal on an adventure!
I will be leaving on Sunday 9/29/19 with little Savannah for her Elk hunt. This is another "Hunting Dreams" trip here in Idaho. Savannah fought like heck to overcome Leukemia. I won't have K114 with us like I did for Bailey's Bear hunt this summer, but K114 will be there in Spirit. I will hopefully post a success pic for Scar Finga sometime next week if that's OK? I am blessed to do these hunts for kids who have suffered like "OUR" little Morgan. I'm pretty sure Scar Finga will be OK with me posting Savannah and her bull "WHEN" we get it. Thanks for letting us be a part of this journey!
Good luck to Savannah on her hunt, and good on YOU, Mt. man for doing this!!
Man I am very much OK with that Mt. Man!!
Are you back yet? Where is the Update???
I hope she and you are/ were successful and had an awesome hunt!!!!!!!!!
Hunts have been added and we are running over 50% success rates for our hunts! That is excellent!!!
Savannah had a few shot opportunities on nice 6x6 bulls but had a swing and misses. Her tag is good until the end of the month so we are road warriors for her doing weekend day trips until she can connect. We had a ton of fun.
P.S. Scar, I saw your post and immediately started looking thru items and called others to search as well. GOOD NEWS! The custom pen has been found in Bailey's dads video camera bag as she was writing in the blind. I will get it back to you ASAP!
As for Savannah and her Elk hunt...……….To be continued ;-)
MT. Man,
Thank you so much brother!!! You were on my list of people to call today. I am very pleased it has been found!
Tell Savanah we are all rooting for her!!!!! :)
Thanks again, and I will PM you my address.
God Bless!
Brotsky has reserved the knife for this December. Cow Elk and Mule Deer with his dad in S.D.
Check the first post on this thread for dates, locations and success.
More dates available, lets get hem filled!
Thanks
"Hunting Dreams" 2019 hunts are now in the books and OH BOY! Savannah is one tough cookie battling thru Snow, Wind, Fog, Thunder and Lightning! She got her 6x6!
That is awesome!! Congratulations to all!
That is awesome! Way to go Savannah! You go girl!
How cool is that! Way to go Savannah!
Congratulations Savannah, memories of a lifetime!
So after more than a few issues and complications, the knife, Journal and pen are back on track. I won't go into details, as at this point, it does not matter, but everything went missing for a bit. and it affected three hunts in total.... I must say I am very pleased it was found and sent on, but a few guys missed the opportunity to hunt with it! So hopefully we can get back on track and start posting some awesome adventures!
God Bless Brothers and Sisters, and the best of luck on your hunts!!
No good deed goes unpunished Scar
Glad to hear we are back in business! I had the chance to scout some for my dad’s late season cow tag the other day. I found a few potential victims :-)
Yeah Brotsky… I know... What ever!:) I wish you both well brother!
Sucks for the missed opportunities but glad things are on track now.
Jeff Davis aka SPORTOUTFITTER is next in line, then on to Brot.
I'll have the blood washed off and K114 all re-sharpened before I send it on to you Scoot. ;-)
Mt. man's Link
So I hope to keep this updated now...
One of the guys that had the knife has been banned from Bowsite. I won't go into details, but he is a good guy, and will be missed!
Right now the knife and journal are on the way back to T-ROY, he never had the opportunity to hunt with the knife so hopefully he can put it to good use! Good Luck Brother!
From there the knife goes to Brotsky for his cow elk/ mule deer hunt with his dad.
Good luck gents and keep us informed!
Thanks for coordinating this Mark! Hopefully we can add a few more fingerprints to the journal :-) Very glad to see the knife is back on track and on schedule!
A big shout out to Mark, aka Scar Finga,
The entire Harris family is appreciative of Mark, for starting the "Adventures of K 114" Appreciative of you who have hunted with the knife along with those who have expressed your compliments of Kelly, and well wishes for his family.
Hunting camp this season is quite different now a days than the camps that saw Kelly, at his liveliest and his best. As his hunting partner for 42 years and his father for 52 years camp is sometimes difficult and other times sentimental, yet a joy to be there due to knowing how much Kelly, loved to hunt and his enjoyment at just being with people, especially the youngsters at the youth hunt.
This year the best day in camp for me was when Morgan, and her boyfriend came for a visit. We had a good time, enjoyed good conversation and food at a local restaurant.
A couple of nice bucks were taken and hopefully the other fellows will have good luck.
The best of wishes to you and your families for a safe and very joyous and happy holiday season.
Thanks again to all.
Don Harris
I didn’t know your son, but judging by how well liked he is on this site, he was a fine man and a good reflection on you. I wish I had words for you but I can’t imagine any way I could help. Just know that here in Wyoming someone is praying for your family. And nice job in raising your son.
Morgan’s boyfriend is a very lucky young man. Time flies. Thanks for the we update and all the best to and the Harris family.
As always Don it is my pleasure, and thank you for the update!
I pray for peace and God's blessings for the Harris family, and for all the great people on this site!
I received K114, unfortunately (poor planning on my part) it came on Friday afternoon, and our bow season closed Friday evening, so I didn’t get to to take it afield. I spoke with Scar, and put in a request for K114 for the first week of June, in 2020, for my Ontario bear hunt. It appears those date were open, so hopefully I’ll be able to give K114 a proper showing on my end in June!
Next stop for K114....SD with Brotsky!
T-Roy,
Your hunt has been added, and I will send Brotsky an updated hunt list.
Good luck and God Bless!
t-roy, couldn't you of at least cut yourself taking it out of the box to get some blood on it? Good luck Brotsky!
Beav....I DID cut my tongue licking the stamp, but I had already taped the box shut.
Hmmm, what temp range kills bacteria again? I think it's around zero here today.
Brotsky,
I just sent you an updated hunt list, you can toss the other one.
also, lots of open dates left!!!!
It might be a prion, Brotsky!
K114 got put to good use again today! My dad was able to take a beautiful cow elk and fill up the freezer for us! We hunted a ridge I knew late season elk always used as bedding and found a herd bedded up. We made a great stalk to about 100 yards and he made a great shot putting the cow down quick. Great memories! The knife will be on to Scoot next!
Awesome! Congrats to your dad!
Yessss!!! Congrats to you and your dad, delicious!
I caught K114 celebrating. Good thing I found him before he got into my beer!
Congrats to your father !
For God's sake, Justin, don't let K114 anywhere near that corrosive battery acid known as Grain Belt!
Congrats to your dad....that's awesome!
Excellent News Justin!!!!
Congratulations Again!!!
I have some more hunting coming up - cow elk in Colorado thru the end of January, family ranch in Texas between Christmas and New Year, then down to Texas again the end of January for nilgai with zebrakiller and traveler.
