The Magnus Rack Pack thread got me thinking.....what other awesome pieces of gear are no longer available? Pieces of equipment that were awesome, but went the way of the Dodo. When this happens I always wonder why popular products disappear?

From the other thread these items were mentioned:

• Rack Pack

• Mel Dutton Decoys

• Badlands Terra Glide

What else can you think of?

Razor Cap broad heads,,, I told Gene Wenzel one day at a deer show, when he showed me that head, by Phil Mueller.... later on after using it, I told him, it was better than the Woodsman hands down......

I spoke one day with Dr Dave Samuel who shot that head.... he saw me with it, and asked me, how I liked it,,,,, I shot 2 of my best bulls with it, and one great bear.....

I was able to find a big bunch of them many years ago, in the Cabelas in South Dakota, where I talked to some idiot in their archery section, that nobody wants that stuff anymore, and I should buy mechanicals

He directed me to the bargain bin, where they were being sold out for 12.00 a pack, this was before NAP took them over and even they could not sell enough

I had a Loggy Bayou climbing treestand about 20 years ago that I loved. Some didn't because of the noisy band but the seat folded up so it was completely flat for carrying. Light weight but you had to hug the tree or use a strap to climb with. I still see some on ebay but mine was stolen out of the tree.
