Pat, Charlie and I sat down in Omaha the day after the Bowsite Meet and Greet to discuss bowhunting, Bowsite, the personalities on here, threats to hunting, the strong relationship and similarities between Bowsite and Pope and Young and our joint efforts to raise money for the conservation fund.
It was a great time at the convention and I’m really thankful to Pat and Charlie for taking the time to do this and for all of the great things they do to promote bowhunting.
You can listen to it by going to the P&Y website and clicking on the podcast links, or you can download on iTunes, stitcher or podbean by searching for the Pope and Young Podcast.
Thanks Zack! Looking forward to listening.
Next on my list....thanks, Zack!
Charlie Rehor's Link
Link should take you right to it!
GREAT Bowsite Podcast. Past, Present, and Future. Nicely done Pat and Charlie and Zack. 98% workers! interesting stats. Member since 1997. my best, Paul
FYI, Pat says ".....but we are bringing out the new search which will come out next year"
Yay! If it looks anything like the old search engine I will be absolutely stoked.
Awesome! This will be good!
Looking forward to the listen!
Mark
I think Roy is requesting a “like” button :)
Good stuff fellas. I subscribed to the podcast. Looking forward to more.
Gonna sit in the hot tub tonight smoking a cigar and listen....also.. I see a like button would have come in handy... just saying..
Looking forward to listening tomorrow....Pat looks like he just stepped out of the Shire.
I enjoyed that. Couldn’t get it to work through apple though.
If there was a like button, I’d “like” Griz34’s post
I use apple and they all seem to work fine.
I ate an apple today, haven't heard the podcast yet though.
Well I just listened to a podacst about a website. Another Bowsite miracle. lol
The early history was interesting as were the lurker stats. I had no idea. Great show. Kudos to P&Y for doing it.
Good job guys. Entertaining.
I found the content very interesting, very well done.
Can’t wait to listen. As soon as I get out of bear camp, I’ll tune in...
Dammit, Cory, are you hunting right now? You’re such a bastard ;)
Finally had a chance to listen. Super interesting, highly recommend. Thanks Pat and Charlie for everything you do. You guys rock keep it up
The history of bowsite is nice to hear
Well done Zack, Pat and Charlie. I really enjoyed it. So many great friends I've met through this site. Thank you!
Oh, and the like button was invented by a liberal and likely would pay royalties that direction to add it. Pat already knows that though. Great stuff boys! ;)
Be interesting to figure out a way to track how many hunts get set up here by complete strangers every year. I think I'll end up behind the glass for Treeline this fall on his Goat hunt, and that only happens because of Bowsite. Kinda cool way to proxy hunt where I wanna do my Goat, and meet a great guy at the same time.
Edit: Also, great podcast guys.
Pat- I know you did the History of Bowsite Feature, but it was cool to hear it in your own voice. Congratulations.
Love it! Thanks all.
I asked Pat a question about bowsite while in Omaha. Can't quite remember exactly what was asked, but his reply should have some of us scared. His reply... "We can see what site you just visited and the site you go to after leaving bowsite." :)
Still don't know if he was serious or not. lol
Great podcast Zack, Pat, and Charlie! John
That is definitely spot on for Rick!!! LoL! Dirty ol man!
Really enjoyed it guys. Nice work as always Zack
Matt
Better hope he doesn't check your last/next site, Palmquist. You might have to change your handle to 'SanFranMan'.
hahahaha! good stuff, Pat! just finished the podcast. nice job, fellas.
Funny stuff guys! Thanks also for supporting our Bowsite Wounded Warrior hunts!
Will listen shortly. For me it would be like: "Last site visited bowsite, then bowsite, and then after bowsite it was bowsite.
Great work, fellas! Enjoyed it all.
Awesome podcast . Thanks guys!! Hunt
Enjoyed it... the number of lurkers blows my mind. I better be more careful with what I type, I might hurt a lot more feelings than I intended... Ed F
Hear that, Ed. Knowing I've offended hundreds of thousands of people makes me smile. ;-)
Good stuff. Carry on Bowsite.
I agree, Ed. All of the numbers blew my mind, really.
I can't get it to play from either link above. Does anyone know where I can listen to it from an android?
Tradman, you need to download a podcast app. I use Castbox.
Finally sat down and figured out how to listen to this.
Great job on the interview! Thanks Zack!
Have enjoyed the Bowsite for a long time... Met quite a few great, passionate bowhunters through here over the years and hope to continue to meet more.
Didn’t realize how early it actually was in the history of Bowsite that I got addicted to it...
Looking forward to the future!
Thanks Pat and Charlie!
I just finished listening to the podcast. It was a great history lesson. Pat and Charlie did an excellent job. It’s really good to have such passionate folks supporting the bow hunting lifestyle
That was fantastic guys. Loved hearing the history/start up stuff. And how about that Zack! WE ARE Pope and Young....
Great stuff, guys! Honestly, if it weren't for Bowsite, I likely would not be a member of P&Y and/or go to the convention. Now, I can't wait for the next one! So many guys I just didn't have time to meet or talk to long enough.
I feel the same way, Nick. Without bowsite, I'd most likely have never became a member of P&Y. Also, the time is SO short there, never enough time to talk with everyone. Good people and my type of people.
...and I'm stoked to see the new search function! Happy dance!
Great podcast,I have been a lurker for years, but lately Charlie has helped me come out of my shell a little.Thank you Charlie for everything that you do.
I finally got a chance to listen to this one tonight. Great job fellas!!
