Saw a guy with a nail in his heart (nailed it to his spine) once ... he was alive and alert, and the surgeon said that the removal was actually pretty straightforward.
It turns out you need a broadhead.

Based on the lack of penetration, probability one of those mechanicals up front. Probably was a rage, dull, too...
Pretty sure he wouldn’t have walked in off the street if the shooter had used a good sharp 3-blade VPA or Snuffer;-). Would have bled out at the scene!

Must have been a TV host shooter. Fist pumping and hissing “Smoked him, smoked him!!!” As the guy runs off with 3/4’s of the bolt sticking out. Next morning recovery too.
