AZ's system sucks. I have to log out every time I want to add a species. Every time I hit the "Let's Continue" button I get an error. If I try the "Start Over" button (the only other option)--it takes me to log out. I don't know why they still can't make this seamless. There has to be a computer programmer that can figure this out for them after so many failed attempts. Anyone else having this problem?

Yep. Everyone should probably boycott AZ...... except me :)

AZ definitely has the most difficult draw system of all the states I apply for.

Agree. The system is worthless!!! you are correct

Sucks. Totally ass backward. They fact that they are paying for a program that works so poor is telling.

Montana is hands down worst You need to put in before the last few days I did mine 3 weeks ago and it went good

You guys get to apply digitally? COOL!!!!

It must be something with your browser. I just applied in Chrome and all worked fine...yes the site is inefficient as hell, but no errors, etc. I'd try another browser like IE, etc..clear cookies, etc.

yeah, it is probably due in part to my browser, but still. Just to get in (each time), you have to input your SSN 3 times--in two different screens-verify all kinds of information that should be automated--particularly since you had to jump through all those hoops just to set up the portal in the first place. What is the point of the Portal anyway, if it doesn't streamline the process. Then to have to do each application separately and fill in all your CC info three times is beyond stupid. I'm pretty sure they are losing money by having three separate $15 charges instead of one $45 charge. Beyond stupid.

But, you're saying I have a chance...

I guess that makes me stupid.

No problems using iPad.

It clearly states in the regulations that the system is designed to give errors to NRs when applying! :)

Tell me something new... it's not the browser... its inefficient. Try doing it for 4 people... it takes at least a 6 pack to get it done. I believe that they are losing out on apps because of people saying F it. Ed F

The AZ process is ridiculous. I chose to forego my bison app and save the $15 just because I didn't want to go back through the entire process again after doing deer and sheep.

I heard that USO Outfitters designed the new system to deter others so their clients could increase their draw odds! ??. (J/k).

I don't understand why the various states can't just look at the states that do it well (like Utah) and mimic their systems.

Arizona’s guy quit and left no info so their front end is an add on till they get new help.

If you are in Safari the issue may be you are blocking pop ups which may be part of the AZ system. When are at the application page, go to the menu bar: Safari/Settings for This Website/Pop up windows- Allow. Might help. Might not. I forget which stare was a problem until I allowed pop ups for that website. Not cool, not cool.

Regardless of browser used, I agree with Ken that it’s annoying as hell to check out separately for each individual species each time starting from scratch. Why on earth they don’t allow a cart system like all other states... beyond me.

Like I say, count yourself lucky if you can apply online. We need to print out a paper application, fill it out and mail it in, or drive to the MB Conservation office. Where everything has about a 75% chance of getting lost or completed improperly with zero repercussions or chance of rectification. We buy or paper tags with carbon paper in store and fishing licenses in store, and get draw results in August.

It's laughable. They cry we have no money in conservation. Tell me what the payback period would be on implementing an online system as opposed to having a government employee entering tags into a spreadsheet? Print costs for wax paper tags? That website would pay for itself in months. Got to love government where there is no bottom line. Sorry didn't want to derail the Arizona talks, just pointing out that it can always be worse ;)

From: StickFlicker

You talk about the costs of having government employees enter the information. It's my understanding that Arizona used to use prisoners to enter the paper applications into the system years ago. Can you imagine prisoners having access to your social security number along with your address and date of birth!

I had the same problem doing it on my IPAD. Very confusing , just took me to a blank page , hopefully it worked, I got 3 separate e-mails confirming my applications
