Life is good.
Well, it is shaping up like I probably won’t get an elk hunt this year. So, to celebrate that travesty, I opened my last packs of deer back strap tonight. I figure if I don’t get elk meat, I should make room for 6-7 deer.
The following is my celebration. Back strap wrapped in bacon. And a plate of crime cheesed deer meat skewers with onion and green peppers. With a side of green beans cooked 9 hours in the crock pot.
While I hate missing Colorado this year, I can make it work! Eat your heart out guys!!!!!
I'll be right there .... have the Sun tea ready ... :0)
Ok. It is chilled and tastes good.
Looks delicious - meal fit for a king!
Looks very tempting! Enjoy.
What a great meal that will be!
Well, I just finished it. I was concerned my "sun tea" wouldn't be very good since it was old. I had no such reservations about the deer meat. It was all delicious and, I'll have lunch and dinner for the next couple days.
Man, that is a feast!!! Good for you:)
none of the complimentary comments above are referring to the pond water you are drinking
(the food looks terrific)
Meal looks great, Justin. I have one loin left. Wanna try the recipe that was posted a few weeks back. Flattened sections, cream cheese, jalepeno peppers, sausage, for filling, wrapped with bacon and grilled. Doing that on the 4th.
