Just assumed "Ike" had different identities depending on if he was in AK or CA. So Idyllwild is a town in CA? I did always wonder what the handle meant.

I never knew Idyllwild was a town either.
And I thought Ike(Phone) and Ike were the same dude for a short time. Then I got a clue and checked it out.
Have to say though........................................."touron" always sounded a little funny to me. I always called them "Cit-iots"................................(city+idiots= cit-iots ;-)

Glad to see what this thread is about. Any time I see a screen name as a title I think the worst. And I was in the Ike(phone) and Idyllwildarcher being one and the same as well. God bless me I just ain't that bright.

Ah, glad I wasn't the only one. Idyll, it's pretty tough to keep track of the 3,000 handles that post regularly, but since people call you Ike often, and some people have a separate handle for their phone, it isn't an illogical connection.

And I use "citiots" too. It's another good one, but not everyone who lives in a city is an idiot. Some people are from rural areas and move to the city...

Idyllwild is where that 7.1 earthquake hit last Saturday. Shook our place pretty good and we are an hour away. It’s the shake and bake capital, forgot flash floods.
