Lone Wolf Climber Sit Strap Installation

I just received the Lone Wolf sit strap to go on the hand climber model. Does anyone know how this attaches to the hand climber? The only way I could see this working is to run the looped end through the seat and then push the clamp end through the loop...and cinch down. Is that how its supposed to work? Thanks
