Highest will be Maine Moose points. You gain 10 points a year after the 15th year of applying. There are people with over 100 points.

Beginner don’t put in for NE archery elk unless you can afford a guide or hunt private land. I got drawn last year and hunted East of McCloud. Had a fella that I knew that worked as a forester up there. Had pictures all summer of a decent bull hitting a waterhole from March until the end of August. The elk then head for a large piece of UN huntable land for the rut. Hundreds of them. Met two other experienced archery elk hunters up there. We hunted all around the private land and I also got information from another friend up there that knew where every water hole was in the area I was at. Not one had fresh elk sign just bears. Bears everywhere!! Guides were sending me pictures of bulls from private land they hunted. Prices started at $5500. So next to the last evening I finally got a bull to answer a call. Unfortunately the sun had set and by the time I could get close it was to dark to hunt. So three guys and I’m the only one that even heard any calling. Other areas up near a Devils Garden that can be good on a dry year if you could find water had water sources all over the place. If you can afford the price you’ll do well. I was on a diy public land deal since two years before I spent all my cash reserves on a Ca desert Ram hunt. You’ll get drawn eventually. I got the sheep, antelope and elk three years in a row

Hmm .. This scoring system is really international, but it seems to me that it is quite useless. As far as I know, some people just buy these glasses, which is very sad. I'm not very familiar with this system, but on one of the forums they wrote that this is possible. I'm really wondering why the total score is mostly so small. I have never seen the total number of points exceed a hundred. Perhaps this is due to a specific counting system. But I think that if there were more points, then it would be possible to more accurately determine certain points, since then there will be a more accurate designation. For example, when I was writing the test, the total number of points was 150, this made it possible to determine in detail the level of knowledge of each person who took this test. for example, I had 133 points and I am glad, since this is my favorite number. If you are wondering why you can read this article https://www.sunsigns.org/angel-number-133-meaning/

Zero points in any states or provinces. We don't get points in BC and I quit playing the points game when I drew a CO elk tag 11 years ago (and my accumulated CO deer points expired recently from lack of applications). Nice when you can just buy a license and go hunt a lot of neat critters.

That said I had a good run in the lower 48 with 7 CO archery Bighorn sheep tags plus 4 Mt Goat tags, a WY Shiras moose tag, a NV desert sheep tag and UT bison tag.
