Nice finds!!

Do the folks run deer drives there during gun season? I was curious because when I was hunting Iowa in deer drive country, I seen quite a few nice bucks left dead in the woods with holes in them. I got a few pics of them somewhere.

Certain parts of Iowa pump out 200 inch giants every year.

That is the Pat had on trail camera. I bet it was wounded by the Amish at night on a "coon" hunt.

LINK, if I were holding that head the brows would be tickling your nose. ;-) Short arm or long arm, that’s a helluva buck.

My goodness, that thing is almost unbelievable. Could you imagine seeing that thing coming through the woods towards you?

I heard it was found near Old Fort in Seneca County.

That's no blood sack, he was allergic to bee's, that was a white faced hornet nest. They thought he was a tree and set up camp, they got pissed when he tried to shed velvet and stung him to death.

Amazing deer!

Drycreek there’s no doubt it’s an awesome deer. I posted before the thread owner posted the last pic. I also knew it likely wasn’t his deer. It’s just hard to tell when someone uses a wide angle lens and holds the deer at an arms reach if you’re looking at a 180”er or a 215”er. Both scores are amazing deer but not in the same class. Why long arm a giant?

From: Boris

That is an amazing find. I could be wrong, but the deadhead and the photo of the live deer do not look like the same deer. They may have a giant slithering around there.

Old Reb - Thanks for the info, any details of what it might green score?

Did you all see Spook Spann is laying claim to hunting it? He made several accusations about the neighbors trying to keep him from shooting it.

Sure Ohio I can give you that but how about the camera being positioned two foot from the head and the picture literally showing a beam at each edge. I suppose that was just not being present minded in how they’re portraying the animal. That’s not really a question because the answer is obvious. Here’s a pic with a CO not attempting to make a whitetail look like an elk.

Wonder if they're gonna keep it...8^)

The DOW here are notorious for confiscating big racks... They possess the rack from the attached photo which was state record and I think 5th in B&C at the time...

Funny how guys get bent over a pic - deer is obviously huge. Even the pic with the officer shows that.

Awesome buck,

Lee
