I had bilateral carpal tunnel surgery about a month and a half ago. I haven't shot since and do not think I could shoot now very comfortably. For those whom have had it, how long did it take you to resume shooting? Wonder if I will have to change my type of release. I shoot a compound. Just curious to hear anything about your experiences

I have had it in both hands in the last 10 years. It took 3 months before I was able to get back to comfortably shoot 65 lbs.

Had it done on both hands about 7 years ago. You're looking at a few months before you'll want to pull your bow back. I wouldn't try to push it. Good luck on your recovery!

I've had both hands done and was shooting the following week with my drawing hand and two weeks when I had my bow hand done. My drawing hand was cut in the palm and my bow hand was cut at the wrist.
