Go to Archerytalk there are plenty on that site.:)
Is Levi still doing this professionally. guy seemed pretty good.
Yup, would have to say Levi
Trick shooting a recurve check out James Jean. This young man is unbelievable.
According to the cult it's (Troy) Ranch Fairy
Cousins is the best at marked indoor/outdoor/fita over the last 3 decades.
Levi is the best at unmarked 3d.
Schlosser is the best at outdoor World Archery/FITA (50 meter)
There are a handful that can win on any day at indoor; schlosser/hanson/broadwater/etc
Unmarked 3D is Levi Morgan, Jesse Broadwater has been tearing it up on marked 3D.
I'm going to guess somebody with the surname Kim.
Years ago Jeff Hopkins lived close to me. I was at his house when he got back from a tournament. His wall was covered with those great big checks. He tuned my bow and made me the first fiber optic sight I had ever seen. He had rolls of fiber optic and it worked great. I remember one tournament that he had it won and didn't even have to shoot the last target that was a turkey. A big crowd was gathered and the official told Jeff that was a brand new turkey and if he could hit it in the head he could have it for his little boy. They wouldn't tell him the distance to the turkey. It was 40 yards and he hit it dead center in the head. He showed my wife and I the turkey. I miss him since he moved away.
I have been in this game since 1956. I have seen, met & known many that were "the best" at many different times over the years. Levi seems to be the name we hear most for 3-D currently.. Personally, I would like to know "who is best" today on a 28 field round...
Over the last few years probably Broadwater; he's been shooting 559 pretty regular.
Dan Mcarthy is also a top 3D shooter.
Mark Kronyak from NJ is by far the best... he likes to keep it low key though
Never heard of the guy....
I believe Mark is mouth tab division.
If I want to see who isn't even close to great, I just look in the mirror.
Can’t believe no ones said it yet. I am
I have a friend who won Vegas and many other tournaments over his years of competetive shooting. He still consistently shoots 300 and 600s on a daily basis. He owns an archery shop and has no time to compete anymore. He is by far the best shot I have ever seen in person. Levi 3D, Dave Cousins indoors, lots of great shots today! Shawn
Im the best in my backyard. Until its time to shoot at a big whitetail.
I won 6 events last year in two divisions. 2 turkeys, an antelope, a mule deer, and 2 whitetails. :-)
So Levi is the best at judging distances is seems, if he dominates unmarked courses. I would think he would also be the best on marked courses too? If not, then he is not the best shot, but the best at judging yardage. I'm not trying to take anything away from Levi, so calm down.
Jesse Broadwater x2 (at least, for marked 3D)
Well we know it's not you.
Slingshots, pea shooters, or blowguns ?
sorry for the lack of specificity.
peas hooters. traditional bamboo tubes only in the 36-44" class. obviously at unmarked ranges, drycreek. who is the best?
Here some of the IBO folks who are sharp.
3d IBO vintage recurve: Scott Koenig , Spanky Brooks, Jeff Hale are some of all round best.
IBO 3D Selfbow 3d : some guys like Tony Taul, Shawn Magyer, Bob Enlow, Rusty Horn
IBO 3D Longbow Kurt Stunkle, Shiloh Butts, Bobby Parks
The big show every year at IBO Traditional worlds is the Arvin Weaver Selfbow Shootdown and Open Last Man Standing shoot: any bow type all comers. In 2018 i watched a guy shoot against everyone including olympic recurves/barbow to the last 6 folks with a selfbow. Just an unreal feat.
